I don't know if there is an advantage. I want it for the cool factor. I hate electric Cav plates!

And then turn around and kick start it? If you were to want to go something similar a late model rotax motor with electronic reverse and electric start out of a snowmobile would be the best option.Kinda off topic but would a yamaha banshee engine to v drive setup fit in one of these? Run a heat exchanger to cool the engine instead of raw water. Looks like the challange would be the pipes and a reverse gear.
I could see that. What would the advantages of an override pedal me on an outboard? I know it's a 12er but if you hit that pedal won't it slam the nose too hard?

I would think this could all be adjusted.

I may not be understanding the physics but with such a small boat any pedal movement would generate a huge response in the bow. It would seem that the plates would have to be so small they wouldn't really be plates. That's why large v-bottoms have long tabs. Let me know if I'm not seeing something.
Bushing hole for cross shaft in the new parts ?
I've been trying to figure out (in my head) a system that would be 'one side of the steering wheel is throttle, and the other is plate control' .
Think; 'heavy duty paddle shifter' kind of set up .
Can the plates be activated hydraulically like with a brake master cylinder?
They make a hydraulic down pedal system for some of the K boats and race boats, but you wouldn't need it in this type application.
Nice! Final finish?
No that's just fresh off the CNC. It will be polished and clear anodized
Are the brackets going to be drilled and tapped together for a inconspicuous joining deal?
Will those be what holds these brackets to the transom?
The projects that SFV2RVR comes up with and completes makes majority of the rest of our sleds look like crap. There seems to be a common thread with everything he touches.... Bitchen and over the top!
As always, super-nice!!
I can't wait to see the update pics!

Thank you! I just try to keep myself busy with a project and they all turn into some type of endless snowball. Thanks for following my project. [emoji1303]
That White interior pops with the Ron Burgundy gel. Cant wait to see it in person all finished up.
Almost as nice as a White jersey with a blue Dodgers logo....
It's light grey. Matches the nonskid.[/QUOTE
Damn... Let me try this again...
Almost as good as a Dodgers grey away uniform with a blue Los Angeles logo on it. :finger
