I have heard Kai is there as well. I don't know of any other in the OC.

I heard Al's old mechanic Kai was there now... Are there any others? I'm certainly not unhappy with the reliability I've had over the years with the old "Rude" but there's not the abundance of support like the Merc camp that I know of.

And to think I've had two Stokers almost exactly the same as each other, both with Evinrudes I think it'd be cheaper to buy another one with a Merc vs. getting a whole new set up. It'd cost more than the boat probably's worth.

Talk to DezertRider...he has a 22 that came with a Rude 300 and he pulled it off and put on a 300xs...fairly pricy but he loves it.

I have one of those boats that the outboard is worth more than the boat. But it's literally 30 minutes to take it off. The motor and the boat are separate in my mind. The can be sold as a package or separate to upgrade either side of the package.

They bring him in when there is something they can't figure out but he's not there full time.
