I am all packed and ready to hit the road about 4:30am tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

I am staying until Monday (Wood / RhinoWood) is staying also. He is bringing his flatty. There are usually some of the NRKA guys that stay for the week.

RDP will have our booth again this year. Looks like I should have ordered more hoodies! Sierra will bring the cookies for anyone that needs to pick up. She’ll have others on hand if you get hungry!

Pulled 500 out of harrahs and 350 out of avi, but my problem is,

Was a good show, some really cool boats for sure. Rapped with thane from Nordic for a little while, they brought some nice hardware from Nordic. Ran into some inmates, (usual suspects) the booth was the hot spot today. I agree with Dave, lots of RDP shirts at the show.

On a side note, really kind of a bummer to see a guy getting a ticket in a full show flat bottom. Was pulling out from doing a little run (like many boats) and they sited him for no registration. I get it, laws are laws, but something like this with zero other boats on the water I don’t understand the purpose.

The show was busy as always and definitely shows off a lot of nice hardware. We had a good time as always and spent the better part of the day there. Saw the guy getting the Ticket as we walked in... Pretty stupid if you ask me. Guess the Sheriff dept doesn't like our kind and the Revenue we all bring into town.. Without the boats running im not sure how long the show will go on. Maybe time to move the venue? Parker maybe?

Billy posted repeatedly that boats must have current registration to run, and I am sure he announced it at the show as well.

Here’s my take on this years show. This was my first year as a spectator. I was shocked at the parking fee we had to pay after having to pay for each person to get in the show. What do I see as soon as I walk in the show an unregistered K boat getting a ticket. Come on guys this is an event for custom and race boats. Not to many K boats have registration numbers on them. I really don’t care if it was announced at the drivers meeting or not. This is a specialty event and any boat should have been allowed with out law enforcement harassment. The show looked to be low on entry’s compared to past events and I have to admit it was a little boring to me not able to see the K boats run due to fear of a citation. As I walked threw the K Boat pits with the customer trailer I hear the guys complaining about it and talking about not coming next year. So I asked is this show a bust now? I asked myself this as well. Do the members of NRKA not get to run their boats down at Needles on non event weekends since they don’t have registration numbers on them? Just like everything else all good things come to an end. Maybe the show should be moved down to Parker. I bet Parker would like the revenue that Needles have recived over the years!

X2. Needles is the armpit of the earth anyhow. It makes shitholes look nice. You would think the town wouldn’t chase off the one event that draws people to fill up the motel 6 and Denny’s.

The Blue water would be a better venue. With some exhibition.
