I passed two semi's yesterday. Each one had ONE counter wieght on each trailer.

It's hard to even imagine how much it must cost to have one of those cranes on a job...

Here is a shot from a customer in SLC. A bit of boom deflection on a 550 ton. On this crane the counterweights can retract so you don't have to shut down a lane of traffic.

SLC hotel/Convention center! Had a part in that Jobsite (mostly on convention center side) .Always loved how the Tower cranes are broken down and also the way they get jumped up a section.

Crane and contractor are never the same. Almost always a business to business relationship. You also have rigging crews in the mix. Generally all parties are sharing in the pain when it’s a catastrophic failure to one degree or another.

Out paint job at NASA is going well. Big wall needs a big 150 foot articulated boom lift. Good for in 20 plus gusts.

The rigging crew is primarily responsible for the lifting gear. Failures do happen though.

My son in law works for Heavy Transport and has been delivering pieces for this crane. I believe he said about two hundred truck loads for this crane. My daughter works for Pro Mobile pilot truck service and has worked on this job also.

4 yo 5 weeks to setup

20 to 22 months to manufacture
