Are you saying Eli is that bright
Have you read the entire thread? Lol. These are already in it.

Hope he was using sunscreen.

This many pages and still no treadmill joke? you guys are losing your edge
CNN's ratings from this story trump'd Fox so Fox has pretty much switched from it's constant political dogma coverage to covering the story too.
CNN has been all over this for 12+ days for sure. I've been watching Megan Kelly & Hannity all week and they've been talking about it for most of their shows too.
The debris spotted by the Aussies is 1500+ miles out in the ocean and one report says a piece is over 80ft. I wonder if it's from flight 370? They're out searching for the images they saw.
I'd like to know If I can "Google Earth" my house and see my 14 inch tall 2.5 foot long dog in my backyard. why is this "piece of interest" that is 70-80 feet long not be a definite hit?
Brian
How long has your dog been missing?

A lot of the higher def images on Google earth are captured with aircraft.

Ok thanks. That was what I was wondering.
"Not a day, I am happy to say."
My thought was that the white and black dog standing in green grass is much smaller than a WHITE airplane wing floating in blue water. Google Earth has some pretty clear images from SPACE.
Just saying. Flame away.
Brian
I'm pretty Uncle Sam can see your dog if they really want to.
Then tell your uncle Sam to produce some fucking photos of a plane in Pakistan.
I'm pretty sure that if that plane is in Pakistan, they have pics of it. Lol.
I hope so.
Nice diversion looking for it in the Indian Ocean though.

I agree. Let's say it is there. Can you imagine the size of a rescue operation to rescue 200 plus people? What kind of resources would they need to be successful? A SEAL team could not pull it off. You probably need an entire Division. At that point we are talking about full scale invasion of a foreign country.
McRib has been trying to hack that one for years. There are only so many bikes he can find with the naked eyeThese satellites probably can't read your house number, but they can tell whether there is a bike parked in your driveway.

I don't believe we could morally hold that information from the world, and let 200+ families, and 20+ nations burn resources looking for something we knew was somewhere else for this long. It wouldn't be right and International community would not be happy with that. I also think if it was there, other nations, specifically China and Russia would also know it was there. All would not be pretending to look somewhere else. That's just my opinion though.... I'm sure stranger things have happened. Taliban has already said publicly that they had nothing to do with it. Not that they are trust worthy, but do think they'd be bragging by this point. Again, I've been wrong many times.... :rolleyes
I'd wager a lot more was going on with a lot more methods in the search that the public doesn't know.
No reason to give up any tricks or secrets if their is nothing to show for it.
I'll stick to my theory that the pilot did a Allah Akbar and killed everyone.
Suicide and homicide by pilot.
Then why the crazy flight path?
Take it off the mainland, gain some altitude, point it straight down and full power, done deal. Hit the water like a missle at 700 MPH, or more, if the wings rip off.

I saw a deal where they talked about a cabin fire and him turning towards the nearest airport. Then the entire crew could have been overcome by smoke and autopilot flew the plane until it ran out of fuel. Until the black box is found, we will never know.

More fuel for speculation
Breaking News! This just in: It has just occurred to one of the experts on one of the panels on one of the special breaking airplane bulletin shows on CNN that the last call from the pilot came at 1:19, and 119 backward is ... 911. So now another clue

Some sort of cabin fire does sound logical. Except for the calm "Good Night" transmission that they now say was made after the radical turn to the west. (If that chain of events as reported is true?)
Forget the plane, I want to meet Melissa....:champagne:
The transponder was turned off deliberately before the pilot's message " all right, good night". It's sure wasn't fire that turned the transponder off.
The ACARS was also turned off shortly after that if any of the report is true.
