Mornin fellers. Got a bunch of BS sorted out on my starboard fuel tank fitment yesterday (read: grinding fiberglass) and with the help of my buddy Crash, finalized fitment of the filler tube for said tank.

On to the port (tank already fits and is bolted in). But first, I have to take the eldest daughter to the walk-in clinic, she’s up visiting and isn’t feeling well.

Well I guess I missed a Hula visit while carting the eldest daughter to the Dr. She’s got influenza A, so she gets to take Tamiflu and sleep. The look on her face was priceless when they told her that her prescription fill was going to be $130 because she didn’t have her insurance card with her...until I produced mine and brought it down to $14.

I’m pretty sure she’s going to start carrying her insurance card and wallet with her...

Now out to the garage to accomplish something, even if it’s wrong!

Actually finishing the island. Only had it held together with a couple screws. Needed to cut in the outlet boxes on either end, install the finished kick panel on the opposite side of the drawers.
Also need to install the steel support straps for the counter.

Somebody was all nervous that I was waiting to the last minute. Hell, I've still got a couple hours till they get here...

Need to make a 3/8" deep and 3" wide spot for the steel.

Steel sits flush.

My FIL updated the interior of one of his river houses a few years back.

I just looked didn’t have many good pictures but found one when I was fixing to start the 4th of July cook.

I have some pretty awesome sunrise pics from the porch somewhere but couldn’t find them.

Water was way to high to be boating that year and still watched people put in and run on plane with logs like that floating everywhere.

He’s been getting things set for a floating dock at this one for a couple years. Maybe get it completed for this season.
