would not drive its own way out of a paper bag with the 33" tires......

Yep. @jb600 texted me a link to the news story. Kinda wild. I've heard a couple of different stories that it's not legal to fly drones in that area, and the guy that got the video my get his hand slapped. Not sure.

It's not legal because they don't want folks crashing the damned things where they cant be retrieved without causing damage to the landscape.....

Couple weekends ago wasn’t a good time. Cracked Helmet and all. Glad we invested in a good one along with chest protector with neck brace.

He has a new Helmet.

And tonight we started prepping trailer for Saturday race. Only doing the bare minimum until it cools off enough to transform it how I want it.

Lake Michigan Beach Charlevoix tonight.

Ok, the beach without the Mustang in it. There were 4 to 5’s tonight. Several boats tried to come out to watch the sunset. They turned around quickly. Coast Guard went out with lights flashing and hauling azz. They were getting hammered. They went all the way to the can and cut south towards Elk Rapids.

My 3 sisters and I decided to take mom away for a weekend with no spouses earlier this year.

Last week I got a call from hydroskreamin. He was out of town and his daughter (16 fairly newly minted driver) was having some car trouble... of course I went and got her squared away.

My friends John and Gina. There was a corn roast in town a couple weekends ago. It's a fundraiser for the local boat club. They maintain all the bouys that mark the river channel heading into town.

One more drink and I will be ready to back the RIB into Lake Michigan.

Race weekend.

Minor crash on the 85 in practice. A slower kid switched lines while the boy was in the air and he dumped it to avoid landing on the kid. Just sore and banged up a little. He ran 4 races total. 2 on the 85, and 2 on the 110L. Didn’t push it on the 85. Said the jumps hurt when he landed. He won the 110L class.

Based on what I’ve saw him do in practice, if he ran the 85 like that in the race he was faster than most out there and had a legitimate shot at a top 3 in that class.
