I'm gonna kick back and hang around home. Too many people, cops and and riff-raff out there on the Holidays. Traffic always sucks trying to leave Orange County too. I'm getting over it. I might go next weekend. If not the weekend after. I always do at least 3 days out there so holiday weekends don't really make a difference.

Thursday through Monday for us. We will be in the Needles area. probably stay up river for the most part. I am sure Pirates cove will be a mad house

We've moved all our stuff into Fox's for May and June. Gonna head up on Thursday and play on the beach, no boat now, ours left last week to a good new home. Still enjoy watching all the action and kicking back with our kids and grandkids. Even if I still owned a boat, I doubt I would put it in the river on that weekend. (I'm too old for that)

Weekends expect a few long lines. In the middle of the week, not so much.

When I did Havasu, we would leave early Thursday morning, and be on the lake by 9am. Thursday and Friday we run the river to Laughlin and back. Saturday we headed back home around 6pm. I never hung out much in the channel, other than to take shelter, when the wind was strong.
