I dislike Memorial weekend because of all of the idiots, but I don't dislike it enough to miss a long weekend at the river Our holiday weekend schedule is always the same with us launching the boat early to avoid the idiots, going way up river to avoid the idiots, and pulling the boat off the water early to avoid the idiots. See the trend? The only time we don't avoid them is when we go to the ramp to watch the shenanigans.

1. I'm sending my mom to Cabo for the weekend with my aunt. So I need to feed the dog and do some work on the house while she's gone

2. I can't be gone for that long right now.

3. I can't afford to be in a hotel for 3 weeks.
