If Rehab isnt interested in it @yard dog i will take 2nd in line for it. I want to be able to stay on plane at lower speeds for running from Bullhead down to Needles in the shallow areas

It’s all yours sir. I’ll reevaluate later this season.

If you guys are going to go this route……. Go with the leader of this type of product.

Permatrim

Permatrin is the best. It mounts the best. Has the most stability. Just look how many nuts it’s attached with.

This product works great for those that need stern lift. It allows you to plane at a lower speed too.

Here is a pic of my Permatrim

I had one on my 25 Daytona. I also had tunnel and trim tabs. Added it after owning it a while and it made a noticeable difference in the speed to took to get on plan as well as the time (shortened) it took to get on plane. For the price, it seemed worth it. I do not have one on my 26 Daytona as it is currently set up perfect. I considered installing it just because I have it still - will report back if I get to it.

FWIW I plan on adding a pair of Permatrims to my WorldCat. Boat rides fine. But I know…… the catamaran hull will ride even better with the Permatrims.

I put a -1 on my schiada and while I liked the top end I didn't like how it planed out. I talked to Lee and he didn't reccomend big tabs so I went this route. I put one on and have liked it so far. It's only been on for a year so can't speak to how it affects components.

So it’s been a few years since this thread was posted. Anyone have any long term reviews?

Anyone have any problems stated by @shlbybtro mentioned above?
I’ve had them on our cigarette for over two years. Zero issues. And we run in the o ean often as well. I was skeptical when Barrett put them on but absolutely noticeable different in planing and eliminates porpoise at neutral trim. Our boat has K planes but don’t need them to plane or really run unless we’re in the ocean quartering a large swell.

Highly recommended. A lotta bang for the Buck.
