Anyone have this situation before. Wife is watching a movie and after 45 minutes it stops. Can't get it to resume with picture, only voice. Starting over with another stream won't get it to resume where it left off with a picture. We cleared the cache and tried to resume but no dice. Picked a whole different stream of the same movie and get the same issue. Is there a storage limit on the box?

I plug and unplug my box in daily. If it sits for longer than a day, the screensaver dimming just locks up and no way out of it. Anyone else getting this issue? Usually in XBMC when it happens.

Yes i've had that problem. I unplug mine every day or 2 and let it reboot....seems to run better and faster. These things are just like android based smart phones, most of the time when they start acting funky a power off - power on (disconnect power) fixes it.

Funny I'm just realizing I have the same issue as many. Wireless to my computer is 50-60mbps, the box hardwired was getting around 5 & now wireless is running around 10-20. Odd there's such a huge difference & even more so that it's slower hardwired.

One thing I'm after, hopefully someone has found it or an app, is recorded motorsports? For example, I would like to watch the F1 race from this past weekend. Seems all sports are live feeds & it's the movies / shows that are accessible as recordings.

I've gravitated towards Genesis, but wanted to see if there was something better.

One thing I'm after, hopefully someone has found it or an app, is recorded motorsports? For example, I would like to watch the F1 race from this past weekend. Seems all sports are live feeds & it's the movies / shows that are accessible as recordings.

I found a motor sports app, but it seemed to be prodominantly SBK, and even then some of the feeds were not current.

I've got a Roku 2 box and I love it. Picture and sound are perfect (as long as you have an HDMI input on your TV, which all newer TVs have). It costs less than $100 and takes about 5 minutes to hook up.

Netflix
Amazon
Huluplus
Blockbuster
Disney

and more.

I have a Roku.. It is nowhere near comparable to the box in terms of content. Roku / netflix is all last season stuff and outdated. Plus while there is movies, it isn't EVERY movie. We haven't used the Roku since we got the box.. It's light years ahead even with the gliches.

What app did that happen in? I haven't had it happen, but I use Go Movies / Go TV and recently started in on some new apps like Ice Films, and Genesis.

I found a bunch of F1 racing the other day when I was looking for something else.. I'll see if I can find it again.

I thought the developer of Mash Up quit supporting it. The app is on my box, but if you open it there is no content in the feeds.

BajaMike - here's the difference between Apple TV/Roku. Try finding Gone Girl or Horrible Bosses 2 on either of those devices. You won't. It won't be there for another 90+ days.

I also found a show I've been trying to watch since May on the "box". I couldn't find it on the web, DirtecTv, or my AppleTV.

The box has it's glitches, as long as you're accepting of them then this thing is great.

I haven't seen that problem before.. What do you mean it screws up what you are streaming? Be more descriptive..

If I press play/pause button anytime it will stop streaming video and start from the beginning and loop a small part of the beginning. I have to start the video over after that.

You have tried all the basics.. Pull the battery out of the remote, and reinstall? Unplug the box and replug in?

Yes there is.. Goto the home screen, and goto settings.. You can scroll all the way down and near hte bottom there is a reset tab, and you can reset the thing back to what it was from the factory.. If you do that reset, let it do it's thing but then let it think for awhile afterwards because the wizard won't show at first.

Same deal after the reset. If I push any button around the play/pause(volume, forward/reverse) it does the same thing, also if I turn the remote off then on again.

Tried a different remote I had. It was that the whole time. Guess I got a bad remote. No issues with the new one.

When movies stop at a certain time your probably on WiFi just go to a different addon. WiFi has been cutting movies off at 53 minutes for some reason. Switch that's the answer. Same go's for no sound its the source not the box. Just click out of that source and find a new one and it will fix that problem.

Mashup was shut down but was revived by the engineers at DigiXstream and does work once you have done the firmware 6.3.9 upgrade.

After doing the upgrade on the dual core box the key board is in alphabetical order. Has anyone found the setting to put it back to qwerty? I have searched and can't find it. I bought a new quad core and it is alphabetical too. It sucks trying to use a different keyboard than what you are used to.

And by the way the new quad core box is much faster.

I noticed that as well, and would rather have qwerty.. On the larger remote though the keypad is obviously in qwerty so that's what I've been using instead of the standard remote.

My USTVNOW (live TV app) cannot open any channels any more, everything else on the box seems to work fine. Anyone else have this problem? I have cleared cache, have not done any updates since I purchased it 3 months ago so I don't know if I am on the latest firmware or not. Scared to do any manual updates, dont want to mess it up.

The other day USTV now was down for a few hours.. It was them not the box. I would run the updates though

What do you need help with?

You should just click Settings on the home screen, connect to wifi.. Then go into display and adjust to screen size and you're done. The screen size thing is a little weird at first, but I can walk you through it if you need help.

Box learned new trick... "Error Fetching update info. This ROM (digixtream DX4) does not support this device (K200)". Was updating before. Anyone experience this message?

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial video available of the newest version (KODI)? Dave has a nice tutorial of the previous version on his website.

Still trying to decipher why I'm only getting 12-17 Mbps on the speed test when all my other devices run 75-100 Mbps (Linksys WRT1900AC router and 100 Mbps Comcast internet).

Try it hardwired and then try it wifi.. As well in the settings menu make sure if you are on wifi that Ethernet is turned off and vice versa.

Please be more specific about the other problem? I haven't experienced that yet, and am not sure what you are talking about.

I'm not sure why you would be clicking that OTA deal that was giving you the error. If you ever want the latest and greatest, which would be once every 3-4 months at most.. Just click the streamsmart wizard under videos / add ons / and it will self destruct and resintall the newest shit.

If you gotta have the newset firmware, then there's ways to do that as well.

My advice after almost a year of having one is don't fuck with it if you don't have too.. The grass aint greener on the updates as of late.

I also want to be in the position to help those who I promote the box as a continuation of the good gesture of those who have helped me. LOL.. Well that's basically how I learned it, was just clicking that shit. So I guess the upside is, you can never fuck it up so bad that you can't put it back to stock and start over. :)

I am getting the same error message. I have found out the reason why is the DX4 box is a DigiStream box and not a streamsmart box. I don't think you will have a streamsmart wizard on your box, it will be a digistream wizard. I actually lost my digistream wizard too and had to do a factory reset to get it back. With this box we can't get the channel up package as that is proprietary to streamsmart. We also can't use the streamsmart support on voxer. I can only vox with Dave Montana. I am not too happy about this as I was sold a streamsmart box, at least that is what I thought.

By the way after I did the factory reset, things are different but I still get the same error message when I click the OTA updater. I am not sure how it will update. I don't think it will on it own.

For those of you that purchased a DX4 or as I called it the S4X Pro you have the most advanced box on the market more advanced than the S3 or S4. Because the DX4 was never private labeled as Stream Smart I was loading the Stream Smart Wizard on DX4's and promoting them as the S4X which will be out soon and relabeled the S5-Pro. Recent developments concerning other box retailers who have been installing our wizard on their boxes left us no choice but to block anyone from stealing our proprietary firmware and our Wizards. As a result when we did the recent update to Cody we also launched a nationwide cyber attack on all the box companies preventing them using our stuff such as Dragon Streams, HQ Zone and now Channel Up. Because of this it also prevents us from loading a Stream Smart Wizard on a DigXstream box and visa-versa, therefore everyone who purchased a S4X AKA DX4 can only load the Digwizard. Keep in mind this is not a bad thing, you still get the same channels it's not as user friendly as the Stream Smart is because we have created many shortcuts to make it easier to find stuff such as Live Fights, UFC Replays, NFL Streams and so on. Everything that is offered on the Stream Smart Wizard is on the Digiwizard and I believe even Channel Up.

As far as doing factory resets, don't do them unless it is necessary. Most of your issues are XBMC Related and has nothing to do with firmware. Run your wizard that fixes 99% of all related problems with XBMC. Firmware has to do with your Homescreen, navigation, button functions, interface, system settings, Wifi and Ethernet connections. If your buttons all work and you are only experiencing messages like "Error message fail" that has nothing to do with firmware issues. 99% percent of all problems are directly related to lack of internet speed.

So how soon, almost ordered a box the other night, but have been waiting to here back from you (sent email) on if I need to by the $10 power adapter also or if it comes with.
