Go to System / Settings / Add-ons / Enabled add-ons / Video add-ons........ click on the "Add-on" and select disable then select uninstall.

Also go to Programs / Add-on installer / Installer settings........... and uncheck the Adult section radio button.

Just disabled them. Couldn't have been easier. Thanks for the tips on that!

Ok Guys, big test for you tonight! Lets see how streaming the big fight goes. I always had an issue doing that with My JailBroke Apple TV. If it goes smooth, my order is going in Monday!

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the App on this one?
I invited some peeps over for the fight and not sure what app to search for it in.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

I'm thinking SportsDevil / Live Sports / FrontRowSports / Boxing.

Maybe someone else will chime in.
I usually dont order this stuff because I am a cheap ass, but this is the only rematch of Mayweathers career?? Plus this dude almost beat him last time so if he is going to get beat, I want to see it. I havent ordered the box yet so if you guys get the fight then I am all over it on Monday. Looking forward to the feedback.

Goto videos add ons, dragon streams. Goto upcoming events, find the fight you want to watch and it will give you a stream and link number. Hit the back button and get back to dragon streams main me u then goto PPV links. Click on the stream then the link and you are good to go. :)

I have never done it personally but in Ficking around with my box that is how I believe it all comes together. Practice on a other ppv event now before your friends show up! There is always something on ppv across the world.

If u are able to get stuff to view from your computer or device to your TV....just stream the fight using wiziwig for free. It should be on tonight. If the Doyer and SC game is over in time....I'll be watching the fight. Fuck Mayweather.:D

I'm talking about just using wiziwig from your computer. You don't need no fancy box to go there. I've been using wiziwig for a long time now. Especially for the Doyer games this season. I've said it many times here. :thumbsup

You can also use the bookmarks button on the remote. Select elite sports through there and follow the menu to PPV content.

The "fancy" box is a 1,000 times more than Wiziwig, don't be a hater just cuz you don't want to pony up the $$ to be fancy...:cool

I was seconds away from ordering and my brother in law told me just to get a g box for much cheaper. Im still on the fence so let me know. My in law talked to Dave asked what he was installing on boxes and told me to download on laptop first and try it. I'll see him Sunday

Yes there are cheaper boxes with XBMC on them, they are made of cheap plastic, you can buy them off ebay or Amazon, they will have no loaded channels or very few, very little instructions, and getting a live person on the phone - faggettabout it! We know what is out there and no one can compete with us because no one is willing to spend thousands per month to make there customers happy. All they are interested in is their profit margins, that's it!

With any other box on the market including a jailbroken APTV2 you will not be able to watch fights in 720p quality with no buffering because our links are private and cost the company thousands per month to be able to offer this service to you for free. We have a contract with USTVNOW that gives our customers 30 live broadcasting channels for free, everyone else who has a cheaper box will have to pay a $20 monthly subscription fee. We also struct a deal with Sports Access which offers live sports all the NFL games, Pack 12 Channels, all the college football games, MLB and more for FREE to our custmers, you will pay $24.95 per month using that cheaper box your brother wants you to buy, or you can get it for free using the Stream Smart. In addition to all these value added benefits our firmware is proprietary and the engineering team has created special functions that no other box has such as our XMBC Refresh button. And the list go's on.

All of you who are reading this keep this in mind, DigiXstream who manufactures this box is a business located in Oceanside Ca and Korea. They have full time computer engineers working to create the next biggest thing. I have been with the company since day one and have personally seen the massive growth and I have insight on where its going, unlike most of the boxes on the market who are basically one guy who bought 500 MX knockoff TV boxes from China, slapped his logo on it and selling them blindly on Ebay and Amazon for $99 to $149 with no option to return and no live tech support. Have fun that!

Our boxes are made of high grade aircraft aluminum and are the most expensive box on the market for a reason. Ask the guys who did buy them and watched the Mayweather Fight see what they say about the performance?

If you want to stream a movie or series on Roku you are limited to what is available on Netflix, Amazon Instant or other providers for a $$$ fee...and you can only access what has been released to the public (what would be on your redbox shelves). With this device it has the power to install apps which can pick up offshore streams where you DON'T have to pay for them...series, movies, new in theater movies.

Pretty big difference when it works.

Sounds is good when it is current...

Tried streaming movies last night working good, sound good

Tried streaming music from one of the players and pandora and it worked good

Tried streaming music video from VIVO and it buffered...it was a high def video but buffered all along the way

Dave got back to me on how to do the USATV now....been fiddling with that this morning....

Watching ESPN game day through USTVNOW and it is buffering horribly...

My set up is FIOS with 50MB/50MB

I have the streambox hooked up over wireless N and getting 27/27 during testing...

Download speed is a major factor that must be monitored closely. Even if your computer is reading one thing you need to run a speed test on the box, located on the homescreen. Speed equals performance - slow speed slow performance.

Try watching USTVNOW on any weekday and you probably won't have too many issues. weekends between 12 noon and 8pm are the busiest times throughout the world for XBMC. Also when watching movies or TV shows use the SD links such as VKbox/VK/SD or ororoTV/ororotv, Icefilms/Movreel, Moviebox25/Movreel as they will work much better with no buffering. If you want to find a fast server that never buffers, this is what you do. click on a server (Source) when it starts to play click the right mouse button one time this is a 30 sec fast-forward if it play instantly you most likely havea fast server, if it buffers switch to a new one until you find one that works right.

Understand this is new technology in its infancy stages and is always in a constant state of development. There is a learning curve that takes some patience, but once you know it I promise, you won't be able to live without it.

Thanks Mike. Keep the problems and positives coming so I can determine if it's worth it. I really only want it for pac 12 games.

Pac 12 channels work great and all college games play inside Sports Access.

What am I missing? Why would this be better then Roku HD? What is so magic about the box?

Roku is very limited because everything on there is licensed content. the addons offered on the Stream Smart come from third party developers located in countries that have no streaming laws. having said that, the amount of video content is insurmountable . You can't watch season 6 of Sons of Anarchy on a Roku, Netflix, Hulu or Redbox because they are not finished being sold as a DVD set for $50. With our box you can watch your favorite series the next day after it airs. That makes a Roku a clay pigeon. Not to mention movies, live sports, UFC, HBO & Showtime Boxing, also every show from HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Stars can a Roku do that?

Pac 12 Channel - Tried to watch a quick post game interview - nothing but buffer

Tried to stream Tammy tonight... - No go, tried multiple channels Ice, and the others....nothing but buffering or could not open stream...wasted 30 minutes before I went back to FIOS

Last night I did not try and watch a complete movie....

So far....feeling like I got a nice paper weight....

Going to have to try it connected directly to the router, but feeling like 27MB/27MB up/down via test should be plenty...

Maybe its me...let's see how some others fare...

Hey M, after selling over 8000 of these boxes one thing I have been taught is Speed equals performance. 99% percent of the time movies and tv shows are buffering it's speed related. The box has a built in speed test on the front of the homescreen, run the test see if the box is getting the same speed as your computer. Myself, girlfriend and hers kids rely 100% on this box for our entertainment and we hardly have any issues. If it buffers from the start I normally switch servers immediately.

I don't want you thinking you made a bad purchase so give me a call so I can troubleshoot some things with you.

If it buffers like that did you try to exit and goto another server? I haven't had the problems you are describing. Even with my shitty Internet connection here in Parker we have been streaming SD movies and shows with almost no buffering. If I had buffering issues though I would try a different server first.. If I had problems still I would call Dave and ask for advice.

Were you able to find it and get it to work?

Yes, watched on SportsDevil / Live Sports / FrontRowSports / Boxing.
The $75 dollars that was saved went to BBQ beef sandwitches, coleslaw and plenty of beer for everyone! Fuck Maryweather...

Not to blow a sale, but that is not enough speed to process all the high def content. The processor needs a lot of bandwidth to process data needed to stream content.
If your running 5 and under 12 mbps download speed everything will either buffer or you will get "Error Script Failed" messages. You must have super fast download speed to take advantage of this technology.

I hope this helps!

Your right you don't need the box but will however deal with the buffering as you get closer to the main event. By the Main Event the buffering will have increased 10 times and may not be worth watching any longer.

That won't happen in Dragon Streams.

Go to System / Settings / Add-ons / Enabled add-ons / Video add-ons........ click on the "Add-on" and select disable then select uninstall.

Also go to Programs / Add-on installer / Installer settings........... and uncheck the Adult section radio button.

Much easier way: from your channel list under 'Video Addons" scroll over whatever addon you want to uninstall (blue line around addon) hit the menu button or F1 on the mini keyboard - it will already be on "Addon Settings" hit the OK button and the Uninstall/Install screen will pop up - go to "Uninstall" click ok - hit yes and that addon will go back to the library that can be re-enabled anytime in the "Get More" Addon located at the bottom of the Addon List (Channel List) under "Video Addons.

This will depend on which channel you choose to stream from. With a big event like last nights fight, there are a bunch of feeds to choose from. The ones with higher Kbps will obviously be clearer and better to view. It's rare that I have had to turn it off because I couldn't get a good feed. And I watch Dodgers almost daily. Not too bad for free.

So I've now had my box for 2 days.

In the same 2 days I've given boxes to three other people. Everyone who has played with the box wants the box, I knew that would happen which is why I bought as many as I did.

These boxes are easy to use after you have spent some time playing with them. They have a learning curve and a few quirks to them but once you figure out those quirks the box is a breeze to use. If you're thinking about ordering one make sure to get the combo pack (or order the hausbell keyboard remote from Amazon), you can use the box with just the regular remote but it is going to be a lot more difficult to search with and I don't believe you'll get the full experience of the box due to the difficulties searching.

I have played with just about every Video Add-On the box comes with and I have a few favorites.

USTVnow is great if you plan to cut the cable. I ran USTVnow last night and experienced 0 buffering. I must however mention that Thursday night USTVnow was down altogether and did not come back up until Friday morning. Since all the shows I like to watch can be watched OnDemand an occasional USTVnow outage isn't a deal breaker for me.

GoTV has a very nice interface and I've been teaching my 5 year old son how to use it. We're able to find all his favorite kids shows on there. If you pay for Hulu+ or Netflix you can cancel both subscriptions because everything you want is in GoTV including current episodes of current seasons that you won't find on Netflix.

GoMovies has every movie you can imagine. Many of the in theater movies are Cam's but Camera's have come a long way as has audio editing so most of the Cam's are watchable, I tried watching Lucy last night and it sucked but all the others have been very good. This app by itself is going to save me about $60 a month due to the fact that I have a tendency to rent Red Box movies and forget to take them back. I am not exaggerating when I say that I own 50-60 red box movies. All of the movies recently released on Blu Ray are available in GoMovies, you'll even find many movies that are no longer in the theater but coming to DVD on there. My family watched "The Fault In Our Stars" yesterday and it's not out until Tuesday, the movie was in 1080P and did not buffer once.

Mashup has a super search that is life changing. Last night we would think of some of the most random stuff to search for and believe it or not Mashup found every bit of it. You can find every season and every episode of the original Batman tv show (Adam West), the original movie is also there. Every season and every episode of the Golden Girls is on there. Star Wars Trilogy?? It's all on there and the new Star Wars is on there in 1080P.

There are several sports apps Dave mentioned like Sports Devil, Wiziwig and others. There are a handful dedicated to Soccer and they're titled football so don't be fooled by them. I found the best sports streaming add-on to be the Elite Sports Sports Access. You get to it by using the bookmarks button on the standard remote. I streamed the Thursday night football game in HD with the app and it only buffered a couple times during the game and each time it was only for a few seconds.

The Porn Add-Ons.... So this is the one thing I personally do not like about this box. The wizard installs 3 porn add-Ons. I get that for some people this is desirable but I do not personally plan to watch porn with these boxes and my 5 year old is going to be playing with the box, the last thing I want is for him to discover "Lube Tube" when his cousins are over. I believe the porn add-Ons should come as an optional wizard you can run if you choose to do so and not be an automatic install like all the others. Now I have to figure out how to delete them.

If you're looking to cut the cable this box will work for you. I'm going to use the box in conjunction with an HD TV antenna, this will allow me to watch local news and what not in addition to everything else.

If you don't plan to cut the cable this box can also make a great compliment to cable or satellite TV service. The On Demand content that replaces NetFlix and the current movies will allow this box to pay for itself in a few months. Not to mention free pay per view... I can say personally that I spend $60 a month on UFC pay per view alone.

For some this will not be the end all be all because of the quirks. For many the quirks are easily overlooked when you realize this box will allow you to save $100-$250 a month on cable.

For good measure I ordered another streaming box and it came yesterday. We played with it side by side. The other box I ordered is called the SkyStream SX4. It has almost the exact same content but the navigation is slightly different, the sports access is different and it doesn't have all the channels USTVNow does. The SkyStream has a quad core processor and more RAM which did result in a faster boot time however, navigation wasn't any faster because you're essentially at the mercy of the cloud once you're in XBMC so the benefit of a quad core is minimal in this type of application. I could see a benefit of the quad core and RAM if you decide to do gaming on these boxes which will probably become a big deal at some point since these are Android computers but it's not a big deal yet.

Considering the SkyStream was only $175 vs. The $249 for the Stream Smart I was beginning to think the SkyStream might be a better option for the money. Well.. After an hour of usage the SkyStream shut down on me and had to be rebooted. An hour later it did the same thing. When doing a speed test over wifi the SkyStream consistently pulls down a couple Mbps less than the StreamSmart box. Apparently the SkyStream has an even crappier WiFi antenna than the Stream Smart. The biggest difference between the two is noticeable right out of the box. The SkyStream is in a cheap plastic shell while the StreamSmart is in a nicely made aluminum shell. Because of the price difference and the supposedly better hardware I had really hoped the SkyStream would pan out but after a little side by side time the Stream Smart won and the SkyStream is being sent back Monday.

Thank you for that incredibly detailed review. I'm glad you took so much time out of your busy schedule to purchase another android box that is making claims of being the best and making the side by side comparisons. The SkystreamX is nothing more than a MX Knockoff that plays exactly how it looks cheap.

Thanks for the awesome review.

Not only is my time limited but my tech skills kind of are as well. 200 to save a lot of frustration is well worth it and I don't want to b calling my brother in law if I cant update something. I guess I'll just have to try it. I'll see if I can order once we get off the lake [emoji3]

My promise to you is I will never leave you in the dark like all the many G Box resellers out there. And there are major differences between the G Box capabilities and the Stream Smart. We pay thousands of dollars per month to provide Dragon Streams to our customers for free as well as USTVNOW and Sports Access, what G Box reseller is going to offer that. Also the G Box does not have our special key functions as they are proprietary to DigiXstream. There are even more differences in our proprietary firmware as well. I can say any box coming out of China has been knocked off by the original MX and no mater what size or shape its an MX knockoff. They cannot compare to our box, buy one and do the comparison for yourself.

DVD? I've had a couple times where I've searched for a movie and the results don't have a SD/HD designation, they have a red DVD designation. For example: "movie title" (the year) [DVD] "link to server". These don't seem to play. Above the links is usually a message that says something to the effect of: "For download options bring up context menu over selected link". What does this mean and how do you watch these movies?

Those should still play. You may have to try more than 1 link to get a good stream, I find that these are also a bit slower to get the stream started with so be patient with them. I typically click the link and wait 30-40 seconds for something to happen.

Ok, thanks. I must have had a bad link because I waited a couple minutes and got nothing.

What movie did you have the problem with? I have seen the DVD moniker as well, but it played fine for me when I clicked it so I didn't think anything of it. I will find the movie and give it a go if you tell me the title.

Thanks RD, I found it on a regular stream. It was called "The Other Woman". The DVD one never loaded for me. The DVD version was on Mashed Up, the one that worked was on GoMovies.
