No, someone tagged him and sent him into a curb. The insurance covered the cost of the new stuff. The stock arm we modified was bent, but no problem with the weld.Accident due to a failure of the arm? Never personally seen a re-enforced arm fail. And there is crazy pressure being put on those things hopping a 5k lb car!
I just perused A-arm offerings. There's some super nice stuff out there now. that shit just wants around in the 90's. Had to make it ourselves. Guys would even then take the stock reinforced and stretched A-arm down to the plater and dip 'em chrome or even gold lol
