Isn't menudo basically the same only tripe instead of pork?

Pozolé was always a new years after party snack. With tamales.

Green chili pork, I mean, 16 chili Caucasian stew, sounds good for New Year's Eve.

That looks tasty. I make posole once a year because it takes all day... LOL. My kids love it, we always wait for the first cold weekend, and it absolutely disappears.

Don’t really make anything like this in Iran
Persian spot I eat regularly gave me s bowl of soup last time. It was very different. I ate it all. But I wouldn't order it. They always give me something to try while I am waiting for my meal.

I posted as I was making this last night. Took about 1:30 from start to finish. Surprisingly easy to make.

Now Albondigas, that takes me 4-5 hours to make. Lots of prep work goes into it.

I make my own stock from scratch, so that takes about 4 hours start to finish. Once that is done the soup itself only takes an hour or so.

I jumped on this wagon. Finishing up a Pozole batch. I tend to make it with beef as the wife’s prefers it over pork.

It's Menudo without the furry meat, similar to non-alcoholic beer. .
