I have no idea why people are so excited over this lame ass circus/cash grab.

I can honestly say I do not understand the times for this race ,practice and qualifying..Last week for sema it was jackets and pants after 7 pm . Nor do I understand them thinking this is the best crowd city to be around after 10 unless your part of the hammmered ?

I asked all the uber drivers I used last week if they were working F-! weekend ? they ALL said no way taking a 2 week vacation ..

Hell, that may be as much fun as watching the qualifying. People watching and the whole "worlds collide" thing.

We’re going with another friend and his fiancé. We have 3 night tickets at the Sphere Grandstands. Had a buddy that bought 4 of them a while back and had a change of plans so he gave them to us no charge.

We were going back and forth about going but with free tickets, that made it easy. These tickets are $2,250 each . Comes with food and drinks.

Calling my host at the casino tomorrow to get the comped rooms and we’re all set. Flying out Thursday noon and heading back Monday morning.

It’s going to be an amazing event. The people watching will be amazing and the talent from all over the world will be something to watch.

The opening ceremony last night was quite the show. Even if your not a F1 fan I would encourage you to watch the first couple laps Saturday night as there is a ton of unknowns . Track temperatures and the ability to heat your tires up on a low downforce track with hardly any corners. Should be quite the scene ! Some of you may need to get your nap in early as the race starts late.

They didn't want the event to fail, they wanted the price gouging to fail. And it did.

It will be interesting to see the race attendance numbers.
