Hell I don't know...vote Johnson?:D:D

What I wonder about is where are these idiots agents at? Are agents these days so latched onto these clowns scrotum's that they wont steer them right? Or are they encouraging it?

if they pull that shit on 9/11 I will be writing letters to every single one of that teams sponsors, the head of the nfl and their team.

I will never watch pro ball again.

For once I agree with Yellowboat. If he doesn't stand on 9/11 and the Niners don't cut him I will have to rethink being a Niner fan. I've been a die hard Niner fan for 42 years and have never once questioned my loyalty until now.

I am already not a Niners fan until either 1) The Niners cut Crapperneck (preferred resolution), or 2) Crapperneck admits it was wrong and apologizes publicly (which will never happen).

I even put money on the Raiders to win the Superbowl (and I normally hate the Raiders). :D

Life long Seahawks fan here as well. When I heard some of the players were going to "follow Kaporpicks lead" I was worried. It started with one player, then a couple more saying they back Kap. I'm guessing Paul Allen or Carroll refocused them to something constructive. Local sports radio guys are saying it will be something along the lines of standing but with a white player locked arms with a black player in a chain. The problem is, not enough white players. The Hawks have several very smart, articulate black players, one of them is Richard Sherman who has already come out and said he doesn't support the BLM movement because it's racist and promotes killing cops. Baldwin is equally adept at articulating his point verbally and seems to have played the mediator.

It will be interesting to see what they do, but Baldwin and Pete Carroll both have said to do anything disrespectful to the flag or anthem this Sunday would be counter productive to anything the players might be trying to raise awareness of. In a radio interview I listened to today, Baldwin was grilled about what they plan to do, that interview is where my comments are coming from. Baldwin also said that 26 teams are going to do the same thing. I just wonder where they will find enough white players to make the oreo human chain?

I also heard that NYPD and NYCFD personnel were in town and spent time in the seahawks practice facility the past two days, maybe that's where they get the creme portion of the oreo chain?

I just remembered that the Niners don't play until Monday 9/12....but still feel the same way.

For people that look at Richard Sherman and thinks he's some thug, this is what he really is.

[video=youtube;CUvvWZdKrBI]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUvvWZdKrBI[/video]

His parents were blue collar, and he got a full ride to Stanford even though he grew up in Compton. He graduated from one of the most academically stringent universities in the US. Baldwin also graduated from Stanford. The are not dumb or blind to perception. It will be interesting to see what they do on Sunday.

I love hearing people say how they can't stand Sherman cause he's just an idiot football player that runs his mouth. It's funny cause they obviously have no clue what he does off the field. He's one of the philanthropic players there is.

It ain't bragging if you can back it up.

Sherman runs his mouth but that's what shutdown corners and wideouts do - they're divas.

I'm a fan of Sherman.
I want to hear what people have to say, unfiltered.

I may agree or disagree with it, but it's unscripted and more "real" than whatever else is on tv.

Sherman is a cool cat for sure[emoji106] . I dug the way he dissed all the media shit but spoke his mind about his performance on the playing field.
The tv comercial he's on telling the others guys they need to hone their social skills cracks me up.[emoji1] [emoji23]

He didn't stand. Quite frankly I'm done with the Niners until he is gone. This pains me as a life long fan. On the bright side I just freed up 15 more Sundays.

I dont agree with a lot of norcal shit, but I agree here. I could only hope that nobody would attend a 9ers game and the owners would tell Kaep to get the F out.

That guy is ignorant, uneducated and quite frankly dumb. He doesnt get that he kneels down and people (as I do) see it as a unpatriotic. He needs to stand to respect the flag; plain and simple. Respect the flag for what it is and for what it stands for.

ESPN spent too much time showing it. If you don't like something change it. He is doing nothing to change anything. Giving money is not enough IMO.

He wasn't the only one this weekend. Looks like its catching on around the league. And the raising of the fist is going around also.

For the first time in my life I am hoping the Niners lose tonight...and all season. 0-16 would be fine with me.

Tell that to Napa, RT99 and Grads. :p

The lesson here is not to be a sports fanatic. If you are this up in arms over what some dumbass that plays a game for your entertainment thinks, you should persue other interests. He is not there to think or express himself. Saying you are going to boycott the team when you'll be right back to fanboy status when the media finds some other story to latch on to is a waste of time. If you are going to boycott, man up and boycott football. The National Football League is the entity that is allowing it to occur.

Otherwise, if you don't like it, ignore it. He can participate in stupid kneeling BS and stand on a soapbox on his own time. This goes for athletes that do positive things as well. I can appreciate acts of skill or athleticism, but what makes an athlete a positive role model is what they do AWAY from the game.

Hahaha. Just saw that some guy on ESPN said kaperdick is only a back up quarter back and should know his place! Classic. He shot back that the commentator has never talked to families of those that have died. Wonder if kaperdick has. I'm guessing not.

Basically you're a fuckin clown. Paid to amuse us. That's all you do. These fuckin movie stars and athletes and shit have such allusions of grander. Play your child's game, get on the fuckin stage and entertain me, otherwise you're useless. Next.

Still baffles me he protests the one thing that was written in response to the struggle and war against oppression.

Are the people that support this douche the same people that encourage their children to not say the pledge of allegiance in grade school?

Why are we paying attention to a back up quarterback who is one step out of the NFL. My wife yells at me because I say he's a terrorist. Back me up here, doesn't he look like a middle eastern , not even black.

Colin Kaepernicks protest of the national anthem is about as peaceful as they come which is more than can be said about the reactions that soon followed.

White people: Black people should protest peacefully!
*Black person sits quietly during national anthem*
White people: No not like that.

Yes, some black athletes have rebuked Kaepernicks stance but the reactions to his peaceful act of protest from white fans range from hateful insults to public burnings of his jersey. It goes to show that no matter the act of protest black people pursue ― peaceful or violent ― white people often react with opposition and criticism over an issue that mostly impacts African Americans.

When a black voice is raised in protest to oppression, those who are comfortable with our oppression are the first to criticize us for daring to speak out against it.

You do see the irony that he has been enriched by the NATIONAL football league and continues to play in said league though, right?

To be clear...

I am definitely not a sports fanatic. I usually watch the NFL a handful of times per year and watch the Superbowl. I don't watch the NBA at all. MLB I watch a couple Giants games (if I am somewhere and it is on) and usually watch the World Series. I also watch a few college football games. That describes my year in sports. LOL. If i couldn't drink beer while watching, I wouldn't watch sports at all. :D I don't think I could even name more than 10-15 NFL players.

The National Anthem BS just pisses me off on general principle. It pisses me off that these guys make a ton of money and live a great life in our country, yet disrespect our country and our flag. It really has nothing to do with sports per-say.

He earned every bit of his money (and doesn't have an issue with the NFL). That has no bearing on his point whatsoever. I'm sure you love your wife, family etc and have criticized them before. He has clearly stated that he doesn't hate this country, veterans etc. If you don't agree with him so be it, but don't make it about something that it's not...

Keep in mind that a large portion of the population also agrees with Kap's position. The league is in a tough spot...Kap's jersey sales are thru the roof.

At the end of the day, I may not agree with what's being protested, but I agree that folks have the right to stand up for whatever it is they believe in.

Yes, there are consequences, but voices on RDP aren't indicative of the entire population at large...but they are indicative of a large group of the population, who has equal right to voice their distaste for Kap's actions.

But as a fan, I don't like distractions from the game, especially when so much attention is falling on a backup benchwarmer, someone who's barley in the league.

Are they wearing the jerseys or burning them? Didn't Tebow jersey sales go through the roof for a bit? I agree that his message resonates with a percentage of the population, however it is the NFL, a league supported and enabled to thrive by American government.

I would disagree with that statement.. Where are the numbers and polls coming from on that?

I respect anyone's right to protest; my opinion is when you disrespect the flag and anthem you disrespect the country we live in. You can say you don't hate it but your actions show different. That said...the NFL governs so many things about their brand, except this.....where my company would have fired me if I was taking away the story from their brand; I think this is taking away from the game far too much...way too much news and commentating on one's actions. Hold your hand up, stand in unity, but to not stand for the national anthem is disrespectful...

The optics show a completely different story.. By that logic you'd show respect during the national anthem if that's what you thought.

You might criticize your wife but you would not destroy your wedding ring on purpose and say, yea I'm still into my marriage and love my wife.

The problem people have with this(ALL AMERICANS) is the the flag has nothing to do with his cause!! You need to re-read the anthem, this is not the place and the only reason he is donating anything is people were giving him shit! The smart thing would have been to do a press conference and show people what he is doing to make a difference in the community like other athletes have done! That worthless piece of shit hasn't done crap for his so called cause, give me a break! And yes I have friends that are Americans(I don't like the word black, etc.) that are pissed he chose this avenue!! He is as bad as all the TARDS trying to insight racism get real!! He also grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, when he was in Reno he was treated like a god whatever!!!To me all your post are racist think about it you don't have to be a certain color to be racist!!
