My brother is in the same elevator union as Jack and has worked with him a couple times. I think he said he was on the same Mod job as Jack when he got the call.

Yep. Back then there was only one way in / out to get into the Savi Ranch Business Park. It would create grid lock especially during the holidays for all the retail shops and restaurants. I remember waiting it out one XMAS holiday weekend at TGIF’s. . Once they opened the exit. / entrance on the other side of YL Blvd it helped a lot. I used to walk to the car show to see the cars. One year Jay Leno had a car or two there.

Grumpys. The local donut / coffee shop where John comes in most days when he is in town has a welcome home picture of John and a table set up where a lot of the regulars and kids have signed the banner. The owners told me they won’t take it down until John comes into see it.

Jack is a great guy, I raced and pitted next to him at Palmdale many a weekend. He licensed me for supercomp dragster at Frank Holley school. He had the blackbird back then, the only capsulated supercomp dragster on the circut. He also was so cool , I didn’t have a weather station, so he would tell me what to dial my delay back too so I wouldn’t break out. The guy would give a stranger the shirt off his back if needed, He had some rough times and has come through it all, he is more than deserving to carry John’s torch.

Hope so...saw a post yesterday that he is still working during the week on elevators. I love John but he needs to step away, own the team, hang with the fans and be a Dad/Grandpa. He deserves it for sure...just sucks it wasn't on his terms to step away. You can tell that he is still recovering from his post above.

Such a great guy and inspiration.

So glad Jack got the ride full time! I’m sure Jack will tell you this is not the way he wanted to get back in a Funny Car but he will take it! Jack is the real deal and what you see on TV is the same off TV. Jack has worked hard to get to where he is and I know he takes this opportunity seriously. Jack did great driving for John and I think he will be a contender for the FC championship! Can’t wait for the Winternationals!

There is only one John Force! Love him or hate him he took the NHRA to another level! And he did pretty good for himself also. He has a nice house on a hill in Yorba Linda! And a drag racing empire!

How can anyone not like John Force? His off the cuff interviews are legendary.
I've gotten autographs from him and most of his drivers numerous times. Allways first class.

He may not be in the seat again, but I don't think he's going anywhere. He'll be there, and at this point, that's a feat all on it's own. I'm happy for Jack, and happy that John is still around to be part of it all.

Hard to say. If not, I'd at least like to see him make one final, "John Force", full track burnout. The crowd noise would be epic. He's already a legend of the sport, anything he chose to do would be fine with me.
