Bye Gretchen.. LOL
The future for one cast member could potentially be in doubt. Gretchen Rossi, whose engagement to the ailing Jeff Beitzel was a central part of her storyline, has hit some snags with information surfacing post-show that appears to contradict her narrative.
Plus, she has obtained a temporary restraining order against a former friend and is now dating Slade Smiley, who appeared in season one and has now dated three of the "housewives" on the show.
"It's become the central post-season story," French acknowledged. "It raises suspicions. It does with me too."
However, French said neither she nor Bravo make it a practice to comment on the cast's personal lives when it's outside the show.
Meanwhile, the search appears to be on for the next Orange County housewife, or housewives.
"Are you the next Real Housewife of Orange County?" the official casting flier asks. "We love women who are self-confident and happy with who they are. The women, their significant others and families must be open to sharing their experiences with the producers and the television audience."
Those who are unable to make the casting call can e-mail their name, age, biographical information, place of residence, photos and contact phone number to RealHousewivesOC@gmail.com.
