the eye deal is kinda like a flash burn from welding..pretty sure the water cannon was sucking up sand, and that's what scratched my eye, it is said that the eye is the fastest healing part of your body...at this time it's pretty much healed... ear ache is pretty much gone, put I had some ear drops for a ear infection I got from havasu, left over...but here's the deal... I wouldn't give two shits if they splashed water on the boat, but they actually aim for the people,... and mostly at the drivers,...some one gonna get hurt real bad...and for whats it's worth,,,there are laws against this happening,... just enforce the laws... if it takes patrolling the channel, do so, and start writing people up for doing this...they can sit up in the bushes with their AC on and watch for the cannons, then just go write them up..after a few of the parents have to pay the fine the word get out quick.... I'm all about fun,.. and all about kids being kids,,, but damn..find some way else for them to have fun where it doesn't involve being so disrespectful...like I said... the only reason I ever go through the channel anymore is when we have visitors...

Glass bottles on beaches, launch ramps, and around swimming pools drive me nuts. People show up at my house to swim with a cooler full of bottled beer, even though I told them it wasn't allowed when I invited them over. Unless you have been stoned 24/7 for the last year, you know I'm turning into a cranky old fucker.

I tell them to take the cooler in the house and pour their beer into a Solo cup. "Oh, c'mon. I'm not going to drop the bottle on the deck". No, you're not, because you aren't bringing a bottle out here.

I've had to vacuum and sweep the pool deck too many times. Ain't gonna do it no more. Period.

I've told people that show up to go boating with a cooler full of glass I'll wait for them to go up to the convenience store and buy cans. Blood all over the boat carpet is really annoying.

here's another thing, modern society has evolved beyond being a bad ass..no one ever says, wow we love going to BJ's because there is always at least 3 fights break out...or, we went to a party and finally people started kicking some ass, other wise we were leaving, hope they invite those same guys next party...they have a law on the books that says you can defend the right to stand your ground... but at the same time, you can't chase some one down and kill them... or beat them half to death... they also made it very unlawful to have some one fuc with you and threaten you, then you wait till you see them coming out of 7-11 with a slurpee in their hand and take a ball bat to their ass,..so, when some one say's I' m gonna kick your ass, you have to wait till they do it or you are the one going to jail...pretty much the law is... no hitting and be nice to others...lol

This family of FAT ........ fill in the blanks come right next to us , pitches 3 canopy/tents , sets up chairs, 4 large tables and starts bumping their fuckin music. So here's the real deal... havasu is already over crowded,,, with overcrowded comes more building... with more building, more jobs, more jobs, more over crowding,..the real people of havasu…. don't want the change...they don't wanna urbanize …. they want their sleepy little town back and want everybody to go home...and then there is the next generation,,, they got in and wanna lock the gates and not let anyone else in.... then there is the new wave of transients ...the people from Cal.... that have to have everybody do what they do....So they can't wait for all their friends to move there... so it's the NEW COOL!!! the new frontier so to speak...as far as the real havasu people go, there's a lot that are just stuck there... no money, and can't afford to leave... they had kids there, and it will be the same for them... nothing to do but drugs..but the real sad part is gonna be this.... the taxes there are goona go to the moon and it will be like Newport, the people will get run out because of no jobs and no where to live as they will slowly loose the place that they got from grandpa...and won't be able to afford taxes and ins.....

So, just to be clear here on my end...Bad Parenting....I only had parents for my first 10 yrs...and my mom,... she was big, and she was mean...she had no fear for Man or women... used to beat the fuc out of my Dad when he came home drunk... she would always say,,, anybody fucs with you you beat their ass..or I will beat yours...she was pretty crafty when it came to how to retaliate, one time this guy,..bigger than me kept hitting me … told my MOM... she beat my ass for it..then she told me,..you see that guy by the principle's office, or close to another teacher... you run up and beat his ass...so I did just that...blind sided that fuc..teacher broke up the fight quick... got kicked out of school for a week ,,,got an ATTA BOY from MOM...good parenting right there... we hung out for a week, MOM told me all kinds of crazy stories about the women she beat down..... although, that guy never messed with me again... there has always been others..

like I said,... I wish I was the guy that could Just keep moving on....nobody in there right mind goes and kills someone for spray'n water on their boat,.. and that's how the story would have went here.... I stood my ground,

and yes, I've built 3 houses in havasu and made some good money, I build them out of pocket and do owner financing... so have collected some good income off interest..but at the same time, I'm around the locals... and I'll tell ya, they don't like the new bunch of people,..they don't seem to tie the two together though...they like the work, and the money,.. but don't like the growth..they all seem to say the same thing, fuc these MF"rs they need to go home,... the growth is gonna run a bunch of them out of town … the rising taxes will make havasu un affordable for a lot of them...rental rates are climbing with the cost of homes..

Let me rephrase - It's not CA money, its tourism money. The town needs tourism money. Most of that tourism comes from CA, it is what it is. Can't call tourist transients when they put food on the table for alot of people
