Played Seven Hills/Hemet this morning with @satellitemike Mike and gang. Not the best pic but it’s the only time i thought about snapping one. Tough to beat the greens for $40.

The greens were as good as any course I have ever played, now if we could only teach the dumb asses that are lucky enough to land a shot on the green to fix their ball marks!

Landed right by this feller...carried him 75 yards to the waters edge then came up a foot short of holing the 30 yard bunker shot for eagle. Only hole that I played well all day🙁

I used to play at Big Tee in BP on Beach Blvd years ago. La Mirada is nice and flat, but always seems crowed these days For some reason..lol
Big T Burgers were the best!

I’ll take a shot in the dark, Rancho Santa Fe CC? I don’t know what hole that would be, never played there, have only driven by.

Occasionally there are charity tournaments at private courses like that, so you can buy a spot and play them. Usually like $250 to $300 a spot. Some internet searching can find them.

Love playing private courses. A few months ago I played at Friendly Hills in Whittier, loved the course, great layout and outstanding condition.

If anyone is interested in getting fitted. PXG is 75% off right now.

My last fitting I did at golf tec was only for irons.

But I'm going to do a full bag at pxg since with the discount it's only $31. Figured why not.

The PXG fitting was pretty good. Especially for a full bag at $31.

I am going to order the shaft the for me into on the PXG driver for my Ping 410 and see how that goes.

I did buy a 5 wood from them.

The irons feel pretty good and love the shaft that I fit into ( waiting on the report because I don't remember the name lol). I'm just not sold on the irons, they are kinda ugly.

No fitting but did go to the range for a bucket of balls and a couple beers. Good news is the balls went pretty much where i was aiming.
SOB it was hot out.

Lol nice.

I went to the range Friday early and I've pushing irons right with a baby fade, let's say 5 to 15 yards off target. Can't be fix it.

Then go to the fitting Saturday and I'm pulling it 5 to 15 yards left. Lol doesn't make for a very accurate fitting.

Then played an early 18 at a local course here this AM and back to pushing right. Shot 9 over with 3 birdies though so I'm not too mad.

Missing both ways is tough! I played for a lot of years hitting a draw or snap hook. The ball went left or way left. Was way easier than when i started hooked or blocking. 😬. Almost made me quit. Alignment and swaying are usually the culprits. Start there and just swing harder if they don’t work. 😁

Lol. I've almost always played a draw that could turn into a snap off the tee but going through swing changes have made it a small push and now I'm playing a driver fade.

Seems like most courses are more friendly missing right then left! I think I'm sold on the fade. The only benefit I had with the draw off the tee was roll but I play some what long anyway so it was not really helping me.

Heading to Talega Golf Course in San Clemente tomorrow morning... Never been there. We'll see how this goes. I haven't played in weeks due to sprained ankle. It does seem that when my expectations are low I do pretty well. Less pressure I guess.

Talega is a fun track. Only bummer is that the driving range isn’t right at the course. I shot a real nice score when I played there last month.

Went out as a single at Los Serranos this morning. Always hesitant to do it for some reason. Not sure why, i can count on one hand how many times i regret it. Played with a kid who was 5’ 9” ish maybe 150lbs. SOB destroyed the ball. 300 to 340. I got there to the course a little late. Hit 12-15 balls. Everyone more solid than the next. Proceeded to hit my tee shot fat on the first 5 holes. Made for a long round but a great comeback.

Had a work tourney today at Tijeras Creek. Played it yesterday afternoon with a couple of long time work friends. Back this morning for the scramble. Course is in so so shape. Greens are getting a ton of water and no one fixes their divot. (Same yesterday).
Thanks to @JayBreww for the push on the new G430. I haven’t had time to dial in the adjustments at the range but the club feels good.

Played last Sunday, been out with a wrist injury for a couple weeks. Carded the weirdest 83 lol. Experienced everything. Had an eagle, couple birdies, 5 pars then a couple triples, an OB, water hazard, and of course bogies.

Just looked up Tobler. Hell of a career. Can’t imagine how much the sport changed during his career.

Hell of a nice guy. This is what’s great about golf. You never know who you’re playing with and 99pct of the time it’s a great match.

Finally broke 80! Carded a 77 at my home course. Thought it was over when my triple on 11. The course is not to hard but the rough was thick as it gets here today, the guy was right behind me mowing it lol. I got caught it in it bad.

Admiral Baker North Course today. Started cloudy but turned out hotter and more humid than expected. LOL hot around here is like 82*

Not my greatest round. But as usual, a good time was had. Course is in great shape. The greens were sanded a couple weeks ago, so they are still a bit gritty, but rolled nicely anyway. Still working out the distances with my new Callaway Mavrik irons.

Admiral baker has spent a good chunk of money with me this year. They’re doing all new benches round trash cans etc. the head guys over there Austin and James are top notch.
