Sedona today. Haven't played in a couple months because of my stupid left shoulder. Happy with an 87 on a new course.
Love to see the kids on the golf course.Team Kids golf tournament today. My 15yr old daughter won the women’s long drive as well as closest to the pin.
She carried our team. It’s what she does.Love to see the kids on the golf course.
Looks like it.Monarch?
Friend got an ace on the 6th hole of the Crosby last Monday! He’s been playing golf for 6 months! The set of used golf clubs I got him now has 3 aces!!!! Two from the previous friend that owned them!! He won’t sell them to me! View attachment 1173788
You have to play 18 like a long par 3 just aim for the small square window behind the green and let it rip!Congrats to your friend. He’s gonna think that’s normal.
My old boss has a house there. Played there quite a bit when we worked together. That damn course owns me, especially 18.
Would love to but i need to get home at a decent time Monday.Got 2 open spots LHCGC Monday 9:16 if anyone is interested?
Late afternoon tomorrow.Would love to but i need to get home at a decent time Monday.
When are you guys getting into town?
Journey course is really nice and has difficult spots for sure, as shown, some amazing views. But several years back, they had golf carts that were so comfy, I didn’t want to get out of it to golf.
I hope they have the same carts… how did you get the discounted golf?
Thanks for the reminder, I almost forgot about this!Bad ass golf docuseries out today on Netflix.
Thanks for the reminder, I almost forgot about this!
Watched the first few yesterday (thanks for the reminder). Good stuff. Those guys handle the pressure incredibly well and then again not so much.I’m on episode 2 already, it’s very good!
played Papago and GCU home course while visiting my brother in PHX for the Waste Open. Two very nice courses for"munis"

Steph pops on every few weeks. Think she checks what I’m posting and then moves on. I’ll give the signal “Cookoo, cookoo” when she runs across these to give you time to get your story together.Dont worry, she doesnt hate you!
Steph doesnt read these does she?
Played there a couple times, to elevated for me. Is it still mandatory caddie? I prefer Rio Seco. Played in a Booster Club tournament for the high school baseball team at Los Verdes in Palos Verdes. We call it the poor mans Pebble BeachPlayed Cascata outside Vegas today. Little rougher than the last time out but still a fun track.

Yes, unfortunately. Our caddie wasn’t very good. That’s being nice. I agree, Rio is a better course.Played there a couple times, to elevated for me. Is it still mandatory caddie? I prefer Rio Seco.
Always better than work. LolI played the for first time in a while yesterday. On the first par three I dropped it four feet from the hole and won the closest to the pin contest. I was pretty stoked for the day. Two holes later I had an 8, followed by some other triples. LOL Native Oaks in Valley Center. Super wet, some narrow and blind shots. I didn't do very well at all. But it was better than work! One of our playing foursome was a fellow named Brandon who used to rig boats for DCB. That was a cool surprise.
Lessons can help a ton if you’re willing to listen and stick with it.Finally after all these years I'm taking lessons. I've been playing for 25 years and besides some half ass attention when I was on the golf team in highschool I've never had lessons. I've toped out on my own averaging around 12 index at my home course. So basically a mid 80s player. I can't break into the 70s.
I signed up a golf TEC. It's not cheap but there system is pretty sweet. It's all simulator work with computer and pro analysis. I can also practice on my own 90 mins a week for the next 4 months during my lessons.
My swing is decent but when he broke it down in slow motion there are some eye opening things.
That's the reason I'm a mid 80s golfer. Short game. Especially green side chipping is pretty solid. Everytime a go to the range I spend half my time on short game.Lessons can help a ton if you’re willing to listen and stick with it.
But if you want to drop strokes of your game fast get a shag bag and 50 or more of the same ball you use when you play. Set up at a chipping green a couple days a week and go through the bag a few times from all around the green. Then before you leave each day take 10 ball and pick a few random spots around the green and try to get up and down with as many of the 10 balls as you can. You’d be surprised how much straighter your drives will be with all the new confidence you gain knowing your short game is on point.
Plus it's going to be hard not to listen on these lessons lol. They literally show you in slow motion where you're messing up on a big ass TV. And then after the lesson day email you that video .Lessons can help a ton if you’re willing to listen and stick with it.
