My friend has one of his previous Howards, a 28 sport deck that he only owned for a few months as well. Sounds like he enjoys the build process, more power to the guy.

At first I will be using my MMW billet drive and if that's a problem I will step up to a SCX with my lower from MMW.

Thanks for the clarification...maybe there was mention of using an Arneson somewhere. Who knows...Still a bad ass boat!!!

IMCO's SCX drive I believe can handle that kind of HP.

That picture was taken prior to taking the boat down for the LA Show where the drive was not attached due to the way it would be sitting on the floor. I know this as I took the picture.

Screw the Coffee...you need some wind in your face on the water. That get's the brain working.

During initial break-in runs, Do you know how the boat handle with this HP and the top speed.
