those big whipples are well... BIG!
I thought the whipples helix design rotors were more efficienct than the rotors of a gmc design blower? Now the PSI delios? I think they are about as good as it gets?I gotta admit when they start getting that big, I'm not sure I see the point of doing a whipple over a traditional 871?
I think a good intercooled supercharger system is about the same on efficiency?

Yes Dave the boys at Howard are going all out, the waiting is going to kill me, thanks for the comments.

At first I will be using my MMW billet drive and if that's a problem I will step up to a SCX with my lower from MMW.

What boat went from concept to reality in 3 weeks out of curiosity? I must have missed that one.You watch a boat come together like this, and think Holy Smokes.. and nobody ever pays attention to the time it takes to put one together right.
Then 3 threads down you'll see a boat that was put together from concept to reality in 3 weeks, and the owner will tell you with a straight face, that it's the same they just opted out for the extra zip ties.. LOL
You gotta really wonder about people sometimes.
1st class boat, Howard always builds top notch rides.

Yes they are. owner wants Teague 800's. I am telling my buddy that is too much power but that is what he really wants.
I work a few doors down from Howard Boat. They were kind enough not to throw me out as I watched it go together. I was ready to cry as they
did the front and back cap, but they pulled it off beautifully. Was screaming no as they cut the hatch. Some people are just talented.
The whole project is first class. How they make any money on a project like that is way beyond me.
Brad is a really nice guy and a notch above a baller, if there is such a thing. I've never had the courage to ask anyone why no twins? The
previous boat was the same, although I think it had a 1000 or 1100 for power. Regardless, way beyond my understanding. Maybe some day I'll have the courage to pull the trigger on a project like that, but I really doubt it. :drool
Thanks for the comments. In about 14 to 16 days this project will becoming to a end as the gel coat will finally meet the water for a test run, this project started back in Sept 2010. I decided to stay with a single engine set up for one reason only both of my Deck Boats ran and handled great with only one engine and I have absolutely no experience with this hull and two motors. In April after DS I will pull my 28' SCS back to Canada.
Regards Brad
Love the colours ,blue ,silver and orange. Can't wait to see it in person. I'm going to the Okanagan on the May long weekend and would love to drive from OK Falls to Kelowna to see it. Brad , you'll be in Kelowna by then ? I know you're staying in Havi for DS .
Silver and blue [ my side marker is orange ] is one of the best colour combos >
I can hardly wait to see some videos of it running!!
