I think basic knots is a good idea too...nothing like someone tying a hatchet knot that cannot be untied.
Oh they're fine with flicking ashes over the side but heaven forbid you throw that filter in ocean. I actually agree now that I've become more enlightened on ocean polution but 20 years ago folks were finishing the cigs and tearing the filters in half and chucking into ocean telling me that way the thing soaks and drops to the ocean floor. So much awareness on all this now I imagine you guys want that river clean.Do they want you to ash in the boat? LOL

I was worried about RD's comment about a knot that won't come out after towing. Every boater needs to know how to tie a bowline and a clove hitch. Cleat hitch as well. And a Flemish Flake for that matter... gotta look cool doing it!I think basic knots is a good idea too...nothing like someone tying a hatchet knot that cannot be untied.
I’d relax if people smoked on a boat and didn’t hold the lit cig right next to the fuel vent. Boats aren’t cars. I now make those folks smoke it out on the swim platform. I’ll wait for them to finish. As long as you have a cig in your hand I'm happy. I saw you place what I thought was a lit one down on that pontoon dash and thought, That dudes got an ashtray and then I looked closer and naw I think you have some special technique you'll need to share. I twist em out over the side and chuck the filter in empty cans personally. Folks get amped up fast when they see my arm going over the side .... I tell em to relax.... bitchezzzzzzzzzz
You should literally do one showing the approach and proper procedure of entering and exiting the mouth of the river from Havasu....thats like the biggest question that gets asked every year....I think a video showing how its done from a professional like yourself would go over well...
Would make for a great “What not to do”Going great right about until I put Bertha on the sand.. lol

Well thats what I do...its a bit of pucker moment every time, but hasnt failed me yet....but the same people that are watching you docking videos probably are the same ones that get nervous in the section and would love to be able to watch someones approach...
Actually found this interesting and helpful despite being a long time boater. Please resurrect this seriesMight make a few of these with the Hallett this weekend..
Nice!We are heading to lake Mohave this weekend.. but next time the boat is in havasu I’ll make a video
I haven’t gone back to look again, but didn’t you say you were going to do a video with a single motor?
I’d have to find someone with a single.. .
It's all about marketingWould make for a great “What not to do”
Dude memorial on Saturday this guy was set up with ez up 4 fuckin speakers on stands you could prob hear down at the springs playing for the entire beach at 3 dunes I wanted to tell him you think everyone wants to listen to this shit. But obviously I didn’t
Only if we can also film a segment on how to handle / shit in the cooler of someone that parks in your slip, or plays their music too loud at 3 dunes.

I went to a block rocker on the beach or on my swim step and turn off my boat. Just to enjoy the music when out of the boat you have to have it cranked. So block rocker has been the choice for me.One reason I’ve never given much shit about the stereo in my boat. My current one happens to have a massive stereo, but there’s always someone playing shit way louder than I can.
Should have gone and asked if he takes requests.
Do one on Jetboat handling Dave.Might make a few of these with the Hallett this weekend..
Welcome to RDP Bertha!Going great right about until I put Bertha on the sand.. lol
