Its like a typical summer Saturday
Shit load of boats. People sitting in the channel.with no boats
SxS's all over.

Business as usual minus a place to sit.

The 'stay the fuck home' people may need to yell louder. Not working here

And NOT locals. Huge boats in the water.
The condos next to shagrues in the channel. That beach is FULL of boats.
Even in summer its not full.

Carry on....

Steph and my son kept sending videos of some big ass boats on the water yesterday. Even with the wind it looks like a lot of people are out. They went on a Can Am ride today. Haven’t heard back from them yet.

Go figure it is raining in vegas now. It’s a cooler spring in 20 years and I’m fine with that. vegas is closed!

Where are these people staying? Are hotels/rentals still operating? I imagine lots of non-locals have houses, but I’m sure lots don’t.

It would be great if many of these weekend boaters and off roaders all ordered Take Out from our locally owned and operated restaurants. Lunch and dinner.

If they are staying in a hotel or rental house, is it almost a certainty they are supporting local business on some level.

There are no shortages of food or supplies in supermarkets, so I don’t see that as a valid concern.

Lake and launch ramps were packed today. The few shops that were open looked super busy.

Post some pics of the channel
Chanel was empty of botes Saturday, just full of land dwellers. It will be interesting when the channel opens up to beaching and the chairs are accustomed to blocking parking.

Funny you say that, not that I like it, but those people with chairs have every right to sit on the beach, it’s not reserved for your boat.

You previously stated, whenever you decided to come to Havasu you would bring absolutely all the groceries and supplies you needed and not even enter the supermarkets here. So how would you know the current status of food and supplies in those supermarkets? Just curious.

I had to go to Smiths on that trip for butter. That is all I bought. Once there I saw everything was pretty well stocked.

I went yesterday for milk and beer, and once last week for a couple items. Place has been well stocked every time.

I still brought a lot of my own food for each trip, but I don’t feel like I’m taking supplies from locals when shopping.

Guy seems like a bipolar version of Alan. In one thread he’s complaining about ppl coming to their 2nd homes on the other encouraging people coming to eat take out. At least Alan is consistent.

Why is it ok to have a sxs down in the channel
Parked but not a boat?????
I think it’s because those are the rules and we’re not supposed to question common sense or what’s good for us. My dad used to just say “because i said so”. It’s kinda the same deal. 👍

There are rules against SXS/vehicles parking down by channel that were implemented in recent years.

Yep, we used to park down there all the time with our SXS. Talking to an LEO after the ban, they said someone went through the park at night and tore up the grass. Too bad dickheads have to ruin a good thing.

Our local owned and operated Copper Still Distillery is doing some great things making hand sanitizer for donations only. I was there on Friday. The cheap assed people in front of me weren't buying or putting any donations in the bucket. I left a $20 for a 1 oz bottle, thanked them for what they're doing and walked out.
