One thing about the boat industry, there is 4 sides to every story. The 4th usually takes awhile to play out and will be called the same as the 3rd " the truth".

OHHHHH I STATED the exact truth to a tee. I will back it up forever. I also agreed that I would pull this post when AJ Barrett does his best to make it right.
So far all parties think his statements are true. Does that mean he slandered me? Hmmmmm food for thought. This thread might get super fun when his past customers get wind of this. The stories I could tell. NEVER FUCK YOUR FRIENDS

Well, Do you have the proper insurance to transport a half million dollar (guessing?) boat from Florida to California? That's the crux of this issue and you haven't addressed it.

As someone who has been in BOTH of these businesses, that would be the FIRST thing I would ask of a mutual customer who is using a transporter that does not "normally" take those kinds of jobs. I have a million dollar on hook policy because we tow lamborghinis in west LA and Beverly Hills but my stated course of business would not cover that tow over state lines... usual on hook level is 100k.

Also, If I'm arranging transport for a customer, and I am paying the transporter, it is not unusual for me to make a commission off of that arrangement. The transporter will usually charge less for easy, repeat business to business transactions and the customer is happy to have me working as his agent making good plans on his behalf... This is not unexpected or unethical.

But, If you want to go to war with AJ on the internet, your call.

Im not shoing people away intentionally. I wish him well in business. But I also wish he did not treat his friends as pieces waste paper. And If I am a good person I believe it is my job to warn others of the way he has treated others so they may make their own educated decisions.
As for the guy he promotes. He did his time, probable learned his lesson. And may just be a good dude. But does anyone want to bet weather or not he is able to be bonded? Not saying he is or is not. But is this possible?

You are correct. I am willing to bet the average job that comes out of his shop is $8000.00 Anyone feel free to jump in. I know it took him like 3 years to finish a little 21 foot boat. and its still in there. Why he would hose one of his friends for that kind of money is BEYOND my wildest dreams.

I begged AJ in person.
I begged him on text to just make it right!! Tell the people he gave bad information to that he had no actual personal knowledge.
Irreparable harm is EXACTLY what he did to me and my business. Thank you for pointing that out.
