Havasu Timmy Questions the integrity of AJ Barrett of Barrett Custom Marine in Lake Havasu after 10+years of business.

1. AJ double billed a customer after agreeing payment was made in full.

2. AJ Cost his friend? Sub Contractor? 8-$12,000.00 by misleading a mutual buddy and customer using fabricated? information and slandering Havasu Timmy .

When I found out about #1 I blew it off. Shit happens. Not worth the hassle.
When I found out about #2 I asked the advise of two mutual friends one of which brought it to my attention.
On the advise of all 3 I Approached AJ and asked for a moment of his time. I explained these two issues and he stated he would call the person who took their job away from me and to Another company. I ASSUMED (my bad) Given my 10 years of friendship/employment/Subcontracting for AJ that meant He was going to correct his mistake. (Good enough for HavasuTimmy) (Blown Sleek) (Havasu Carrera) I have been around RDP Hot Boat and boating forums in general a LOOONG time.
MY intent in this post is to clarify to the boating community in which I was slandered by AJ Barrett.
This post is based on facts and if it is removed fear not. I have 3000 facebook friends of which AJ and I have 207 mutual friends.

Someone gave a guy Timmys number to tow a boat for him. The subject came up in conversation between dude and AJ and AJ said “make sure he has the proper insurance.” And who knows what else..

Moving forward job disappears because it’s sour now.

When Timmy was telling me the story even I was like “well do you have that kind of Indurance?”

I know Timmy has a tow truck and a tow biz.. I’m not sure why it never occurred to me that he would have the insurance to transport boats but I guess he does have it.

At this point though he wants AJ to call the guy back and explain all this shit to him, and I don’t think AJ ever did so Timmy is pissed about it.

moving forward. Though that job is up in smoke so it is what it is.. I think I’d move on and if that is some new market that he’d like to tap into, then there is far better ways than this thread..

I can empathize with you about feeling you've been wronged by someone. I know it is frustrating when you think you have no recourse but incoherent ramblings isn't going to help you out any. In fact, it will do you more harm as it just makes people think you are a wack job.
