I would think 2wice about the infinity edge. Any where with lots of wind you'll be losing a lot of water, and depending onthe direction it could be on your windows. Plus the hard water, will leave your tile looking like crap, don't do black/dark. Newest trend is a 12" glass wall on the view side, about 4" showing above water line

My wife had major back surgery in January and we haven't made it to Havasu yet this year.

We are coming this weekend and I will post pictures before the end of the weekend.
Sorry to hear that, I am sure you are taking it slow with her, the back is not something you get much of a do over. Hope she is feeling OK.

Thanks for the kind words!

Actually it's been a great for her. She was is pain every day and could only stand for 30 minutes at a time before her sciatica kicked her ass. So far she has zero sciatic pain and is getting better everyday.

I don't know either of you but I am more than acquainted with back surgeries. PLEASE make sure she takes her time recovering and follow all instructions. I got ahead of my situation so I have some experience here. Regarding the original thread, as a retired contractor, I really enjoy following your progress.

My wife's back surgery was a complete success and she is now completely pain free.🙏 The surgeon and therapist have performed miracles. Roxy says she feels like herself again just younger!

That is fantastic, back surgery can be a very tricky proposition.
So headers off the roof into the pool are back on the table?🤣

Quite a bit of progress since my last update. The exterior stucco and stone is complete awaiting paint. The flooring is complete in all of the main living spaces and the exterior pool deck. I decided to do stained wood for all of the exterior eaves and ceilings and it came out spectacular. Solar install is complete and Mohave solar turned on the system Friday. The 500 gallon propane tank was installed underground and signed off.

After 2 plus years of BS, the pool has finally started. Lower supporting walls are being built and hopefully the pool shell construction will start in August. Currently the book matched 1/4 sawn African Mohogany interior doors are being fitted with concealed euro hinges. The door will be installed in the next couple of weeks. All of our garage doors are ordered and install should be the first week of August.

Next up will be tile and stone for all of the bathrooms. Cabinet shop is measuring up the house next week. All of the Lutron motorized drape equipment has come in and the upholstery company has measured the pockets and will start sewing drapes in the next month or so.

We are shooting for a Christmas completion. 🙏

It’s the meter and disconnect for solar…bc he incorporated Mohave in the build process early on it eliminated excessive conduit runs and allows things to be hidden.
I wondered, here in CA we dont set a separate meter socket, at least mine didnt get one, but I have been wrong quite a bit in the last couple days:D

Ace is correct. The meter for solar and records lifetime solar production. The picture is from a few weeks ago. There's a meter in there now and we turned the system on Friday.

BTW, Mohave Solar has been great and thier quality of work and service has been awesome!

Garage doors are installed. Lower pool wall foundation and pool plumbing passed inspection Friday afternoon.

Monday started tile for all bathrooms and interior door installation is supposed to start this week.

Slowly but surely we will get this sucker finished. 🙏
