I went in to the E.R. for a heavy feeling on my chest. They ran an EKG. Failed.

Then on to an angiogram. 90% blockage. Install heart pump. (This kept me alive til surgery)

But wait, there's more- you get open heart surgery. And a flu shot.

After a 6 way bypass, they close me up with stainless steel tie wires. A 9 hour surgery.

But that's not all...

After 2 weeks, I get the flu. Coughing, sneezing, the whole bit. Haven't had the flu in 10+ years.
The Stainless wires saws through my breast bone. Absolutely nothing holding my chest together but gravity and luck. Hurts like hell. Here, take ibuprofen. WTF.
Less than a month later, I get the fortune of a second surgery to wire me back up. Vacuum pump bandage. Changed every 3 days by a mobile nurse. Six weeks later that's off, no more carrying a pump.

3 years later, I still have wires poking thru my chest. Being shirtless will scare grown men, let alone my granddaughters. No, they didn't use an ax, just looks like it. But I am alive.

Not something to take lightly.

What's wrong? It's obvious his whole problem was lack of blood flow to his brain, now they're going to increase the blood flow to his brain so he just may come out of this a republican.
