Very happy he is in the road to recovery, but also think he is fishing. Classic Grads...hope I am wrong, but he is the king of getting people to bite

I have to say what an amazing place RDP is.Grads is a complete smart ass that gets under everyone's skin and yet everyone here wishes him a speedy recovery including myself nobody wished him any ill will, it really was the complete opposite .Dave you should be very proud of what this site has become.I for one I'm glad to be a part of this crazy place we call RDP.
Even that bench warmer, dork of a teammate you had, you'd still go to bat for against other teams...
Come Monday at practice though, you rip on them harder than the competition ;)

Ha Ha... Funny that inmates think he is changing sides....lol 😂

I was joking.. That said it does have to be fairly bone jarring to realize the blue pill of cnn that he had placed faith in had completely lied about something that you are experiencing right now.. It certainly should put some Question into
Other things they have influenced.

as someone else said “how would ya like to take the red pill.”

If your sphere of influence is only that of one point of view, you see nothing different. If you, and all your friends, see things the same way, and only recieve information from the same sources, why would you ever think differently? When one is separated from the flock, they might gain a different perspective. Maybe a hospital stay, a wreck or some personal loss...something one person from a group goes through alone. I wouldn't bet on GRADS being "born again", or even remotely republicanised...but maybe, just maybe, his eyes may be opened a little more. When your eyes open though, no doubt you'll see more.
We shall see...well, unless he's banned ;)

Cheers to a speedy recovery.
Gotta be tough without visitors.
That’s gonna be a great reunion when you see your wife.

Whoa whoa whoa, I won’t be taking any “blue pills” for a long time...I don’t need another stroke.😜😂

On another note, there’s a slim chance I might be going home today.🤞

It’s late but I just had to take second to say big Thank You to everyone who posted in this thread, it really did mean a lot to me so THANK YOU!

maybe tomorrow I can go into more detail about what caused it, what happened, how the strokes affected me, my icu experience etc.

I will say this. I have been in the COVID ICU in the biggest hospital in the county for almost a week. In fact the room two doors down from me is a Covid ready room. I have a bunch to say and stories to tell about this but I will say the virus is a bunch of bullshit!!!

Because of the alleged virus I had to go about this with no one here for me, I’m not going to lie, I cried a couple times with no family here for surgery. That’s a lonely experience. I walked out of my house last week and told my wife I’d be back in 30 minutes.... I still have yet to see her.

Reality hits you hard bro!

I’m leaving the hospital in 15 minutes! The doctors and nurses came in and said I’m one lucky SOB. After hearing what transpired and looking at the MRI and CT scan they said it’s a miracle I’m alive.

That's great news....Wishing you a speedy recovery.

That's good to hear. I dont want you to think I actually cared about you or that I checked this thread often for updates. None of that shit happened.

Congratulations to you....
They gave me 6 months, 5 years ago.
Love to beat the odds.

Yep.
I already warned him, sudden awareness can be traumatic.
Can you imagine if Grads actually gets turned??
Story for the ages right there.

Side note, Greg, have Kate grease the staff and get you the fuck out of there. We’ve got work to do.
Be careful here now.
Greasing staffs might mean something different to Grads. 😧

Do you have drains in? Those take awhile to get done and removed. Mine where in for 6 days after my heart surgery.
Very true.
My kids were in several days.
And gnarly scars from it.

I have spent way too many days in a hospital bed over the past 2 years. I am so happy to hear you are making the great escape from the hospital.

Wishing you a great recovery and healthy days ahead.

Cheers, Steve
