I think it's important to remember something here.. it isn't "RDP" RDP is a cross section of society as a whole. Right now cops as a whole have a public relations nightmare on their hands. Never in my life do I ever remember them being so distrusted, hated on, etc.. If someday you want to have a real conversation about that and why, I'm up for it.
I was raised that cops were your friends. You need help flag down a cop type stuff. Now I wouldn't call a cop or flag one down unless I was in some circumstance that it was absolutely necessary. How does a person go from one end of the spectrum to the other in a few short years? I can tell you how I did if ya like..
RD
I have the same feelings.
To be clear, I Have been a witness in two trials where the cops Lied through their teeth and fucked over innocent people. Just stating my observation.
Second time was a Maintenance/LE Ranger at Windsor where again the ranger lied through his teeth thus committing a crime against Me by lying under oath. On the stand he made enough errors where I won the case against me. It was just a dog thing where I let her off the leash to get in the water and the Ranger didn't know what the park regulations were. He also didn't know firearms are allowed in the park too. He also pretended he was being assaulted and called for backup from the Manager who chose not to respond. He was just not very bright and he was having problems with the maintenance truck transmission he just worked on.
I can understand where cops on this forum don't like to hear the stories where they cross the line. Being on RDP creates an even playing field where they don't have the upper hand. I can understand where they are frustrated because they can't retaliate like they would normally be able to do in person.
I'm going through the complaint process with the state due to the rangers conduct and lack of integrity. I'm an honest man and come from a culture of integrity so it offends me to have a cop abuse his power and commit a crime under oath to win an argument.
Some cops lie and others just haven't been caught yet. It's just naive to believe that a cop has never lied in his entire career.
I'm a great fan of body cams. They are going to keep the cops inline for sure. This should help them with rebuilding their image and keep them honest.
