Shit not even 6 months ago. Hopefully its OTD at MSRP soon.
That's strange I thought all Escalade buyer didn't give a dam about price only that people would look at them and say: "

Hey look there's another Douchbag in an Escalade."

I just bought a new 2023 RAM Dually under MSRP plus got extra options thrown in for free. Got a trade in of my 2014 for what I had basically paid for it 3 years ago.

There are deals....you just need to stick to your guns....OR bust out the guns.....whatever works for ya....lol

Don't forget that "Little Stop" at the "DMV" and your Insurance "MIGHT" be a Tad higher jumpin' from a 2014 to 2023🤔

TX registration is a non issue. Its very inexpensive compared to other states.

The sales taxes paid weren't as much as I expected based on the deduction of the trade in.

Yep....insurance increased but I am good with that.

Reused my external 100g tank plus my 5th wheel hitch and rails. The dealer agreed to de-install them and I took to a local dealer for the tank and hitch to re-install.

I can now top off at 150g of diesel. Allows me to get fuel in cheaper states as I travel. Next stop for fuel is Nebraska before heading into SD....lol

Ram has always been priced better against the competition.

I look at this for a general idea of what states to get fuel in as I am driving thru states. Then I use Gas Buddy for specific locations but it is wrong frequently.

Sorry one less house on the market. Our son just closed on his first house. But at least the kid had a good taste in his wardrobe. I assume that @RiverDave would agree.….

And they are Ram's all over the place. Drive around OC and they have overflow lots all over the place and then the dealer says " we have one more " 😂

People list on FurnishedFinders for Traveling Nurses. Great website. They rent to other occupations also.
My brother in laws girlfriend is a nurse she has her own home but is moving into my brother in laws house.

She’s going to rent her house out and leave it furnished but plans to rent rooms out to traveling nurses too. She was one for a time but says it will be a simpler process to rent to other nurses bs just renting it overall to others.

We had a litte break in gas prices for a few weeks, but it is starting to creep up again too. What we really noticed in the last couple weeks is groceries are getting sneaky high. 8 pack of juice boxes were $1.99 at Grocery Outlet a couple weeks ago. Same juice boxes today are $3.29.
Damn bag of chips is 6-7 bucks lol. 3 years ago I could work for a week and take 2 off now I work every other week.

There was an article this that stated Hawaii has had more people moving out of state than moving in. Does not surprise me one bit as I only have a handful of friends and family still in the islands. The only one left are the older generation that would not want to move or the local family members that have spent all their life in Hawaii and not traveled outside of Hawaii. Oh…except for Las Vegas. LOLOLOL

Always a trip when you meet a Hawaiian on the mainland. I always ask why they would leave the islands. I know many have a deep hatred for us howlys and they act like their islands are sacred grounds. Many I meet are here for school or jobs for the most part.

Occasionally I meet one that talks mad shit about the lazy island culture.

Speaking of houses…
I’m looking at a few in Havasu this weekend. But…I could really use a few Lenders to check out. I’m doing a turn and burn Sat due to schedule. Anybody have any recommendations???

@Wendi did ours and it was very smooth. I would definitely use her again.

Inside Today's Disastrous Jobs Report: 1 Million Surge In Part-Time Jobs As Full-Timers Crash Amid Staggering Downward Revisions

teaser image
The lies out of the BLS are making Beijing blush...

FRI AUG 4, AT 10:05 AM

The jobs print from every single month of 2023 has been revised lower! Why? So that the White House can take credit for a strong number (one which also sparks algorithmic buying in the market) only to quietly revise it lower one and two months later when nobody is looking. 😆

I'm getting sick of turning this Armageddon egg timer back to 18 months every month. :)

Meanwhile 4 houses selling in my neighborhood, 3 went pending in a week. Its been a long corner to get around waiting for these RE deals.

Honesty...like taking into account how many full time jobs were lost and became part time jobs. How many took lower paying jobs, just to have a job...

Honesty, that's all I want from either party, but it does not exist.

Everyone I know, is not having trouble finding full employement.

Who here is having trouble finding a job? Let’s start a thread and help these people out.

Post up your resume, I’ll find you a full time good paying job with your experience and expertise. 😉

Before I get back to digging ditches, and then to work, I'll just say this...

Something tells me if you're a contractor, you drive nails from a desk, and haven't been in work boots for a few years. Subs margins are getting smaller in the less populated areas, as they always do early on. Guess where I live? Finding 40hrs isn't hard at all, finding it for more than 20$ hour is, and finding it with medical is real tough. Take into account the out of pocket for preexisting conditions on minor dependents, and 20-30$ hour is not much for a family. I'm blessed, I paid of my houses when things were good. If I hadn't, the outcome would be quite different.

Life ain't all roses for some. Judging from your piss and vinegar attitude and literary response towards another here, my guess would be I'm still happier in my work boots, than you are in your loafers.🤣

You just can’t figure it out.
Don’t take it so hard, and stop blaming others for your short comings in life.

In laws just sold this after grandparents passed a few months ago. It literally needs everything. Hasn’t been touched since the 60s.

Btw the staging is digital. Which is impressive.

Rural job challenges are not just a today thing.
I could move to Prescott or Flagstaff tomorrow and put out my shingle for electrical work, and net $100-150k in my first year working as an independent contractor.

Havasu the same thing. Too much work, not enough experience workers.
