Well, if that day comes let me know......if the timing is right on my end I wouldn't mind the opportunity to be the first to buy it. The boat sure did handle the chop well.......and it was fun to drive.

I'll give you a shout out if it ever comes to that. If I could find an open bow version I would consider one, that hull is great for heavy chop.

Really not bad due. Thanks for askin`. Its like anywhere else. Everyone is dealing with a bad economy. Sure, we went through Katrina and still kinda dealing with it because we got the one 2 punch. First Katrina then economy so its more psychological than anything. The oil spill is bad but if you allow yourself to dwell on negative crap then it`ll get to ya. Its just life, deal with the good and the bad. Keep ya head up and look at the positives man. With the spill there are alot of positives. This created jobs in a different way. It gave security to fishermen that didn`t have it. I know, I`m being harsh, but think about it. The fisherman got paid on what they caught, PERIOD! And market price changes daily. Now they get paid by BP a constant. There are several other large positives. People can dwell on the negative and hey, thats their choice (s). Most uneducated people can`t see through the forest. And we have a very dense population of them down here. They choose to see that the government isn`t helping them. That no one cares. I choose to see it differently. People are frustrated, understandable. But like I say, oil is a dangerous biz, always has been, always will be. And if (down here) they haven`t learned NOT to depend on the oil biz after the bottom fell out in the 80`s then thats their fault.
I`ve always said if you make 300 bucks and the car note is 280, that meens you can`t afford it! When people can`t pay their bills with brand new crap in the driveway and flat screens in the doublewide, then the jokes on them. Best part, they played it on themselves.
BP is doing all it can. Everyone complains of they are not cleaning up. They don`t understand that its still in a containment stage. Its still spweing. They`ll get it capped by Sept I figure. Then they can clean up and all will be fine and we can all complain about the next problem.
I said after Katrina, people think the US government is a mechanical being or some GOD like entity. Its not! Its made up of people just like you and I. Mistakes will happen. Just cause its the US government doesn`t meen they have a magic answer and are all knowing.

I warned of this too! Everyone was crying about oil and I said they better shut up before they stop all drilling in the gulf. Guess what? YEAP, economy down here gonna get worse, no more holes or active drilling. Hope they are happy now. Cause the repo man ain`t comin for the tv`s or te cars, he`s coming for the doublewide. Stupid mutha phucas. :grumble:

Quite a few of my fishing buddies are in that region and for the first time in a long while they know where their next check is coming from.

Was it not 502Procharger that created HoatBoatPics over something about his postin' of pix on HB?

GIG,
How about the Christmas party at Dick Dangers' place.
They were cool hosts.

I remember DD was all butt hurt because the Root Beer Float was voted "best original gel" at the 2003 CBBB. Fun times for sure.

I think the Hotboat Pics deal was the "drama" I was thinking of. My mind does not remember very much these days. Well, according to my wife anyway.

Wow....glad I read through the whole thread b4 posting.......all of the few that I remembered were posted already.

I remember hearing about the HB forums from a friend at work.....
boatnam. I think I signed up in 2001 as Charger77; it was free at the time, and I remember most of the action being in the Just Jets thread, which was my interest. I think I remember FroggyStyle trying to put together a bulk Place Diverter order that I tried to get in on, but couldn't because at the time I didn't know how to tell which model pump I had.

I enjoyed lurking through the threads......good times.....then.........

Wassup HD? Hell; I didn't attend any Christmas parties that were originated by HB members that sucked. It was all good. Then things turned a bit "sour", as things tend to do as more peops get onboard. Such is the way of life.

Two things you could say w/o any doubts; Dick Danger was proud of 'is "Aquaholic" and he was a good guy (though he snubbed da gig 'til we met face-to-face @ a "Pyramid Posse" gatherin' in Aug, 2002).

And two things ya could say w/o reservations about ol' Hallet Dave. He too is a great guy but has gender issues, thinkin' he's a "California Girl" and all.

For all intents and purposes, it's been all good up to now as the "boatin' family" goes. We have our spats and we have our black sheep, but we manage to have a good time despite 'em. Or perhaps it's because of 'em. :thumbsup

Someone posted a remark about nipple placement on her enhanced hooters. There was an apology, but it was too late. They were offended and that was the end of that.

For OP6C 5 ( i think ) I picked them up in the channel and took em up to the sandbar. They were a really cool couple, and she was sure easy on the eyes. :thumbsup Not too many guys own their own fighter plane.
