OluKai's are the only I'll wear now..current set is in their 3rd season and still cumfy. I wear them anytime weather permits, and even then I wear them sometimes.

X2 they have a nice arch to them that you can wear them daily.

i've worn all different kinds. rainbows, quiksilver, reef just to name a few.

the absolute best flip flop that i have worn for the past 4 years consistently are sanuks. the beer cozy sandal. most comfortable pair of sandals there are ... in my opinion. i have no interest in getting a different pair.

check them out. :thumbsup

Just blew out a pair of those after wearing the hell out if the for 2.5 years.

However am trying a pair of these next. Surfer buddy of mine won't shut up about them

Everyone has a hard on for rainbows. Don't get it. Everyone says they suck at first. So for how long do they suck? I wear flips every day.

Two river trips. Male sure to keep them wet. They break in faster that way.

Nord sells the Rainbows, so that's what I wear. I like to support the members and small businesses.

Reefs. Wear them nearly every day of the year. Once every few days I wear them in the shower to clean them.....

Olukai for flip flops and Keens for serious off road sandals.

When you guys are talking about the break in period on the Rainbows, what are we talking about? One month, three months, a year?

I have had a pair that I bought last summer and as far as I'm concerned they are not broke in yet. They suck ass, the straps are loose as hell but I also have a very narrow foot and that could be the problem. I want to like them, I just think they are not broke in yet. Hmmmm?

Teva and OluKai are the best in my opinion. Hate Reefs. Haven't tried Rainbows yet.

I also have bad feet..

Reefs and other "spongers" comfortable for a month then my feet hurt.
Rainbows. 3 months then feet hurt..

Sanuc's. Going on 4-5 months and my feet are just now starting to hurt.. Best flips I have ever owned. They also seem to support your heel.. Foot pain gone first day.

I have shit feet also Dave, which Sanuc's you be sportin'?

Tevas are fine when u get them on sale for less that $10. Otherwise you replace every 6 weeks. If your lucky.

It takes about a month for me to break in a pair of rainbows. I wear my rainbows if Im not wearing my work boots. I love them but the one bad thing is when the tread wears out on the bottom from lots of use the sandal gets real slick. You better be careful walking on smooth floors that are wet. Ive done the accidental atomic knee drop at a bar one night. Knee hurt for weeks!

Here's an old question... any of you guys know where to find WIDE flip flops? I wear a 10.5 EEEE. No typo, 4E's. My little toe hangs off of every pair of flip flops I've ever owned.

So far, the Sanuks seem to be the widest, but still can't get my whole foot to stay on.

Don't even get me started on finding shoes that don't make me look like I should be in a retirement home.

I quit weating flip flops all together a few years ago and started wearing these. 3 years strong and they only get more comfortable as the days go bye.

For a strap on, Teva's hands down in and around water. Ask any white water guide. Sandles: Teva's, Reefs (without that disgusting opener). I wear sandles over 320 days a year and Teva's are my go to shoe.:champagne:.

Ive been wearing the same pair for 2 years now with no problem and im pretty hard on them. I didnt get cheap ones though. They were $70-ish.

Regardless of brand name, im sure if you buy a $10 pair of flip flops, they will perform like $10 flip flops. :D

I have a 12 EEEE...great in the sand!:D

When I buy flops, I end up with 14s to get my foot on it.

Next time I get some Ducats I'm going to try the Sandalman in OC...used to work for rainbow...

I have weird feet..extra wide AND a high arch and instep. This means the inner strap is always loose.

The bestest sandal EVAR were some I bought in the late '70s at sears...high arch, super wide and they had a waffle stomper tread with the 45 degree outsoles...so the bottoms were 6" wide.

Update on Flipflopshops.com order.

I got my OluKai's, and they are awesome.

However, the other two pair I ordered, (both of which were shown to be in stock and available for immediate shipping) have not shown. I've been getting emails every other day or so saying they, "haven't forgotten me".
I called their service number a couple of times asking why they showed them in stock if they were not,...no intelligent response.
I asked when they expected to ship.
"We don't know"
Went through the whole thing again just now.
Their customer service is in Asia, the rep, "Jonathan" I think...spoke poor English and was no help at all.
I cancelled the order.
Their website is down now.
I won't be shopping with them again.

I wear what ever wifey buys when mine wear out.
A friend gave me a pair of high end custom the best flip flops ever that he bought for my birthday at a surf shop. They turned my feet pitch black, a stain that would last for weeks. I left them on the deck at the river house one trip and some dumb ass stole them.:D:D:D

Reefs, had the same pair for three years. I wear them at the river in the water all weekend. Bottle opener ones

those will tear the hell out the deck and seats in a boat ( trust me ) if they don't take them off before getting in :(
