WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Monday granted a request by former President Donald Trump’s legal team to appoint a special master to review documents seized by the FBI from his Florida home last month and also temporarily halted the Justice Department’s use of the records for investigative purposes.

What goes around comes around. Hopefully when Trump is back in the drivers seat he's ruthless this time around. Take the gloves off and bareknuckle these fuckers.

That review has not found any apparent business advantage to the types of classified information in Trump’s possession, these people said. FBI interviews with witnesses so far, they said, also do not point to any nefarious effort by Trump to leverage, sell or use the government secrets. Instead, the former president seemed motivated by a more basic desire not to give up what he believed was his property, these people said.

@530RL I'd suggest you sit down, grab a drink, and breath deeply. This really must hurt, as you for sure thought they had found a crime to attach to the "criminal."

bummer, little buddy, a real bummer. dont cry too much.

LOL,

Nothing to worry about little man. He is not in office.

Besides that, don't really care. The fact that he knows he was soundly and fairly beaten by a basement dwelling old fart is a just and appropriate lifetime sentence for him. He is going to die knowing that, and that seems like the eternal damnation he certainly deserves.

"Don't really care."

Doesn't sound like you really don't care, what with the eternal damnation and all. Sounds like a dumped Ex, plotting arson...

While you certainly are not smart, you are predictable.

It's ok, that Skirt wouldn't last a hot minute on a location, if he could even find his way there.
Wouldn't even have a clue what run off even meant. Someone would hafta show him the Way, the Truth, and the Light...

Let’s assume all of that is correct.

Isn’t it still illegal to take classified documents?

Or do laws just not matter and anyone who just thinks a classified government document is “theirs” should be free to take whatever classified documents they want?

Sure. Are you suggesting Trump is just like Obama?

Back to the question.

Do laws matter relating to stealing government property or do you agree with others that Trump, or in your point above Obama, should get a pass and are above the law?

Didn’t think a Gascon “let crime slide” supporter like you would fess up.

I love Gascon and I love Karen Bass. I want those liberals on their knees, clutching their guns that they don’t know how to use and starving in filth.

You’ll be there soon after you’ve turned your state blue, you cheating RINO whore!!!! 🤣

It's kind of easy to take your position and ask that question when you know nothing would happen to Obama or anyone on the left for that matter.

To be honest at this point it's not even news worthy. The Jan 6 show took a nose dive on tv ratings at the end, nobody really cared. These attempts at Trump have two purposes, one try and stop him from becoming president and two divert everyone's attention away from the lefts crime taking place. Case in point during the Jan 6 hearings, Hunter's labtop was actually starting to gain some steam even in the mainstream media. Last week it was creating the whole Desantis/Trump beef and to honest it's working. Just seeing lot's of people in the lounge saying Trump shouldn't run proves it. Now they are trying to keep the whole Ftx scandal as mute as possible. Just smoke and mirrors as always nothing more.

Consequences don’t happen to most anymore unfortunately.

Because we have created a society of accepting that all one has to do is cry that they are a victim.

And then some just point to the other guy and say he gets to get away with it, so why shouldn’t my guy. And then everyone on both sides argue that their guy is the victim and no consequences should happen.

You wouldn’t have heard anyone you support make that victim argument would you?

I will say this, it has become so obvious how dirty the system is that efforts to even hide it are minimum. It is almost to the point at least in my view that the left has run out of plays in their play book.

"Because we have created a society of accepting that all one has to do is cry that they are a victim." Case in point, liberals do this probably 100-1. They claim to be victims and if you don't agree with them you are called many names to scare you into submission. Look at good ol Jussie S. and his case as an example. I know he isn't a politician but just shows you how the left is and to what end they will go to. He actually almost pulled off his hate crime/victim attempt because society has backed off if people scream they are a victim. This is a guy who hated the president so bad that he went to lengths to stage a beating and claim they were Trump supporters.

So in your view it is only one side? The other makes no excuses and holds their people accountable?

Yep. 100-1 was your quote.

Anyone who breaks the law should be held accountable. No excuses in my book.

How about you?
Ok good, when you start advocating for people on the left who break the law be held accountable like you do for people who break the law on the right then we can have a conversation about it I guess.
