My Coworker needs a stainless table frame made for his new remodeled home.

He Needs the feet, legs, & frame fab's and welded up using a 14 or 16 gauge stainless.

Anyone have any recommeded Fabricators/Welders around LA/IE?

@monkeyswrench Not aware of someone in the area I would recommend. To be built correctly you will need a large fixture plate with uprights.
This. Stainless is a real hooker, it moves a ton when you weld it.

@rivergames I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being a $5k+ table base

The orange and pink square/rectangle shapes are carbon steel?

My initial thought was 5k plus. It looks far more simple than it is. I would assume the mild steel frame with SS legs is to save on material cost.

The Blue is 2"x2" cross members with a 1"x2" Frame.

I thought he wanted all SS. Just using the difference colors to show which ones are 1"x2" and the others are 2"x2"

It is explicit calling out stainless steel for the round legs, but just calls out steel for the tabletop frame. Its not an issue welding carbon to stainless, and he'd save a bunch of money building it with the dis-similar metals, might want him to clarify that.

This is something we could build, but not for a while due to current obligations with contract work in the field, and it wouldn't be cheap unfortunately. I'm sure there are some one man shops around that can handle something like this without the overhead that we have as a union shop.

I’m in Bakersfield. We could handle it if need be. Depending on time frame
Regularly go down to Pasadena and Temecula for movie theater work right now.
I am a small fab shop. Welding and structural steel contractor
