Awesome boat, I saw it at the DCB regatta a couple years ago. What mph have you gotten out of it?
My buddy tapped out at 140 and 6700RPM... motor was still making power at 7500 on the dyno. I honestly don't know how fast it will go, kept breaking parts with a soft tune ( 9lbs of boost and 23degrees of timing ) I am currently changing some things and we are gonna step on that bitch !!!

I want to say it was back in the HB.com days you had a build thread going on this boat. The level of creativity and just perfection you’ve done on her is amazing, that hemi and psi gotta sound so nasty too.

Speaking of the old Hot Boat days, GT540 had a Mach 26 with a blown Ford in it. He has seriously impressive numbers on that too.

No it’s my friends. It was a Mach 26 that had the top taken off and kmg rented deck mold from dcb to make it a f26. Also had it capped and new interior and trailer redo. It’s a nice float.

It’s this boat here.
One of 2 boats i always wanted. The other was Bully’s 22’ Daytona

Yup, PETER is right , we bought the boat from him and have made some changes to it ... first was doing the new 300xs with DBR kits, powder coating all the motor brackets ect . New smart craft gauges and some newer cables, helm etc . We are now upgrading the stereo system and about to mess with the trailer . This winter the plan is to half cap the boat , unless people keep throwing money in our face and that magic number is hit lol

First F26 ever made. Still fairly clean.
I have not seen or heard from Charlie in years. We had some heated Skater vs DCB debates on the old HB forum. He was definitely Dave’s biggest cheerleader. Good dude...
He’s still around. He has a twin outboard F26 still.

Nothing posted here beats the boat that Dustin an old member here had. Pure white Mach26 with twins and a beautifully done interior.

Im pretty sures thats Walts Boat pictured up top. "Shots Fired"? I think it was Dustins?

I missed buying it by a few days. I was poor back then and was trying to scrape up money. Great rig for sure.

Wasn’t the yellow f26 originally owned by (I think) Tony from Walt’s Kawasaki?

He wasn’t the original owner but he did own it. I bought it from him in late 04. I sold it in 2010 only to miss it and buy it back in 2016.

I spent quite a bit of time in that boat with Tony. You’ve done some nice upgrades.

I think OD1 was second then Gomez. Rode in it a few times. You sure sit low. I wanted yours when Skinhead listed it for sale years ago on GD.

WOW... What a great thread right here... This brings back many memories. The 26 (M and F series) are great boats. Amazing how good things that are built right will last as long as you take care of them, they will take care of you.
I am fortunate enough to say that I had a hand in a lot of these boats. May 15th was 29 years for me and still going strong and building the good shit... Cheers!

well since you asked so nicely ... lol

If thats Dustins old boat, I always wanted that thing! Did you repower it with the XS's?? How do you like them over the Promax's? I have the same 300 pro's on my 257 carrera, and have been debating repowering. I think Dustin said it would run right at 100 with 28 bravos and the promax's?

I can't believe that I never really paid attention the the 26. Such a clean design. When we move up, the F26 will be it.
Funny two weeks ago we were on the beach with a 26 and 27 Daytona, first i never realized how different those two boats are from each other, but the body lines on our F26 it’s crazy how much more definition etc in them, specifically right behind the canopy.

Dang, had no clue DCB had been around that long thought it was late 90’s (97-98) but even crazier, what’d Dave hire you at 14?

You and me both...

Chris’ old one is coming back to the stable. Just waiting for Jason to release his grip from it. We’re close.

I heard something about DCB working on some smaller boats. Shit! maybe it was here. I think a come back to the grass roots would be awesome.. I remember a day in speed alley when a Mach 22 with twins was spotted hauling the mail. First time seeing that boat and it gave me chills, so bad ass for that time.
