My buddy tapped out at 140 and 6700RPM... motor was still making power at 7500 on the dyno. I honestly don't know how fast it will go, kept breaking parts with a soft tune ( 9lbs of boost and 23degrees of timing ) I am currently changing some things and we are gonna step on that bitch !!!Awesome boat, I saw it at the DCB regatta a couple years ago. Nothing posted here beats the boat that Dustin an old member here had. Pure white Mach26 with twins and a beautifully done interior.
It’s this boat here.well since you asked so nicely ... lol
I want to say it was back in the HB.com days you had a build thread going on this boat. The level of creativity and just perfection you’ve done on her is amazing, that hemi and psi gotta sound so nasty too.My buddy tapped out at 140 and 6700RPM... motor was still making power at 7500 on the dyno. Thanks !!! I will most likely miss this summer with all the changes.... Nice to have a back up boatI want to say it was back in the HB.com days you had a build thread going on this boat. Speaking of the old Hot Boat days, GT540 had a Mach 26 with a blown Ford in it. He has seriously impressive numbers on that too.I want to say it was back in the HB.com days you had a build thread going on this boat. Is this your boat?
That's the one

I’m pretty sure you made a good investmentYup, PETER is right , we bought the boat from him and have made some changes to it ... first was doing the new 300xs with DBR kits, powder coating all the motor brackets ect . New smart craft gauges and some newer cables, helm etc . We are now upgrading the stereo system and about to mess with the trailer . This winter the plan is to half cap the boat , unless people keep throwing money in our face and that magic number is hit lol
He’s still around. He has a twin outboard F26 still.I have not seen or heard from Charlie in years. We had some heated Skater vs DCB debates on the old HB forum. He was definitely Dave’s biggest cheerleader. Good dude...

He wasn’t the original owner but he did own it. I bought it from him in late 04. I sold it in 2010 only to miss it and buy it back in 2016.Wasn’t the yellow f26 originally owned by (I think) Tony from Walt’s Kawasaki?
No Charlie’s is all white with a Speed Racer themeIs that Charlie’s?
I spent quite a bit of time in that boat with Tony. You’ve done some nice upgrades. He wasn’t the original owner but he did own it. I bought it from him in late 04. I sold it in 2010 only to miss it and buy it back in 2016.
I don’t think OD1 was the original owner. I do remember seeing this when it was new at the Windsor ramp. Looked awesomeWe met this guy a few times in Needles a few years ago, boat sounded good. View attachment 1006040 View attachment 1006041
The F26 that first caught my eye and made me desire one. Believe OD1 was original owner of it.

Funny two weeks ago we were on the beach with a 26 and 27 Daytona, first i never realized how different those two boats are from each other, but the body lines on our F26 it’s crazy how much more definition etc in them, specifically right behind the canopy.I can't believe that I never really paid attention the the 26. Such a clean design. When we move up, the F26 will be it.
Dang, had no clue DCB had been around that long thought it was late 90’s (97-98) but even crazier, what’d Dave hire you at 14?WOW... What a great thread right here... This brings back many memories. The 26 (M and F series) are great boats. Amazing how good things that are built right will last as long as you take care of them, they will take care of you.
I am fortunate enough to say that I had a hand in a lot of these boats. May 15th was 29 years for me and still going strong and building the good shit... Cheers!
That's funny... I started when I was 23, in 1993Dang, had no clue DCB had been around that long thought it was late 90’s (97-98) but even crazier, what’d Dave hire you at 14?
You and me both...This thread is bitchen. Can’t wait to get ahold of another one of these.

I bought the original trailer from under this boat from Tim. Agreed one of the best looking F26 built.Tim from Maxes Out Marine’s old twin ob F26 (one of my favorite’s of all) View attachment 1006038 View attachment 1006039
