What a punk move.
Chasing Larson down and spinning him.
As for the confrontation, complete lack of class on Wallace’s part.
Good on Larson not retaliating.
Be interesting to see what NASCAR does.
I watched it a few times and if Larson touched him that's all it was, a touch not a hit, Bubba overreacted and hit the wall. If that little contact with the wall broke something in the steering then whoever teched his car didn't do a good job, I'm guessing the steering is still intact.

Bubba overreacted, there was room for the car, not much but it was there. TV showed a video inside BW's car. Didn't show the steering wheel but you could hear him on the gas. It was intentional.

I watched a driver get killed in Phoenix during time trials. He slapped the wall backward the same way Kyle hit it.

He touches bubba it’s a racist hate crime. I was hoping he’d put that helmet in hand to bubbles head though

I agree on the racist part, but if Larson hit him with his helmet it’s all over for him. I was just surprised he didn’t stand up for himself. But Larson knows he’s on a short leash. But yeah you want him to let Wallace have it.

Today was the 11th anniversary of Dan Wheldon's fatal crash at LVMS also. The optics from a safety perspective especially with the death trap that nascar has designed for the cup series is... not good.

From a political perspective his backlash is bumming me out to be honest. In February 2020 President Donald Trump was the grand marshal for the Daytona 500. It was lit. Bubba was interviewed and he made it known how proud he was to be an American and that Trump was there... then covid... then BLM, and his value rose because it politically aligned. Race car drivers depend solely on funding. I can't hate him for taking the opportunity. He was on his way out of the sport prior to the polarization.

As far as the noose. This was NASCAR's fuck up. Per the usual. They are the ones that saw the pull cord, called the FBI and all the media. They contacted Bubba in the bus lot and told them they found a noose.

There is a lot of shit pushed off on him that isn't really deserved. It reminds me of Brandon Brown. The kid finally broke through and won a race. The announcer tries to cover the FJB's by saying they are chanting "LGB". Current and potential sponsors ran away and the rest is history. There is currently a no talent ride buyer in his own seat, to pay to send it around the track.

It just sucks to see racing drivers, who are barely educated as it is, thrust into a political spectrum. It is usually a career killer. Larson and Bubba being the exceptions.

Incoherent rant over

What's so bad about this is that BW could easily kept racing. He probably would have loss two or three spots, maybe not even that. But the POS has to go and retaliate and hit a defenseless car at what looked like to me full throttle, (by the way wouldn't it be interesting to see the throttle and braking telemetry once BW came after Larson in the car) could have easily killed someone and wrecked so many more cars than what did happen. (By the way, I personally think C.Bell should have beat BW ass to the ground.) My personal belief is this out of control "KID" needs to be suspended at least a half a year minimum and maybe indefinitely in the cup series.

Larson handled it correctly. He raced sprints, midgets, ARCA, etc. and knows how to not interact. When my wife and I sponsored several 410 and 360 sprint cars, conflict and fists flying sometimes was the norm. Always kept a floor jack handle ready at the trailer door.
But these incidents were usually far in between.
I knew Bubba would shit in his own bed eventually.

During one of the replays, they were showing Bubba's telemetry and after the collision and he was pointed at Larson throttle definitely went from 7/8 to full before he hit Larson. My guess is penalty is coming.

Bubba Smollet is Napcar's woke poster boy.
He'll get little more than a slap on the wrist.
He's a marginal mid pack hack even in stellar equipment.
You really want to see what this clown is all about find the video of him walking up to Alex Bowman who's getting medical attention and chucking a water bottle at his head.
Napcar is little more than a WWE clone these days..

The first couple minutes is the interview with Bubba. His complete disregard for what happened to Bell says a lot about his character.

Larson on the other hand, obviously isn't allowed to speak freely about his thoughts on the incident. It is NASCAR. Larson never made contact with Bubba's car. Bubba's car hit the wall, then bumped into Larson.

Saw that, he was upset about supposedly being wrecked through no fault of his own [it was] but didn't give 2c what happened to Bell, it's racing.

Double standard, we are used to that today.

No just racing..;)
It would be awesome - pick straws on the downlow each week and you get to take bubba out 👍👍
Or the entire field just pull in and park em on the parade lap and sit there in protest until they get him off the track.
If He’s so special, just let him drive around and around by himself.

It will be interesting to hear Hamlin’s spin on it.
Denny would do the same he’s childish too but he wouldn’t have walked over to Larson or give a low class interview.

But if he wrecks a guy into wall it’s racing out him in wall it’s dirty racing.

Bubba is known to have temper problems still doesn’t excuse this think he said a few years ago deals with bi polar or something like that still no excuse he’s a poor excuse for a driver and lost respect for him after going to bowman while being treated shows the low class ghetto punk he is.

Bubba is a little bitch, he couldn't handle the slide job he was in, and instead of lifting he decided to let the car push right up into the wall.

From the angles i saw Larson never made contact with him prior to him hitting the wall, it was a clean slide job.

If this was roles reversed holy fuck.....

I believe no contact between the two cars was made until after bubba made contact with the wall but it is a little hard to tell for sure and that's why I said in my post if contact was made it was a touch not a hit but yes I'm on the same page as you.

I saw a video that was pretty much straight on between the cars. The two cars never touched until bubba came off the wall after hitting the wall, then into Larsons car (before the final hit).

Here is a good article from Sports Illustrated.

Interesting. His thinking mirrors mine.

The author got caught by autocorrect and the editor missed it.

"Although if I’m not mistaken, I believe Larson knows some form of marital arts"

Hell, even I know marital arts.

:p

If he isn’t suspended it will just show tenfold how Fn woke NASCAR has become. He deserves no less than Larson did . A year suspension and and anger management / racial counseling.

So NASCAR has still not said a word about this? And neither driver were sent to the NASCAR hauler for a convo with race officials. Interesting.

Fucking nasfag is going to finally break the last straw of the YEE YEE boys and then they will be done too.

Pandering and allowing bullshit like that with heavy fines and penalties for everyone other than the token black dude (who is really a mid pack pussy like Danika...why even waste the effort on them?) will just accelerate the diversity failure.

You HAVE to treat every team and driver the same.

Nasfag is about to show their true colors.

I bet he does not even get banned for a single race.

Fuck NASCAR. Just like every other monetized sport it's corrupt to the core.

They never do. It’s almost always handled on the Tuesday following the day of the incident. If any punishment is to be had I would expect to hear something tomorrow or Wednesday.

It’s ironic that McDonald’s diversity driver 2 years ago was Kyle Larson and they pulled his sponsorship over a racial slur. Tomorrow will be interesting as they have to deal with a different issue, being a bully is not the message McD is trying to send.
