I cannot help but think………..

Anyone sophisticated enough to figure out how to make a pager explode……… Surely knows how to do the same thing to a cell phone.

I guess we will all know when World War 3 breaks out……… Our phones will Explode! lol

They use pagers for a couple reasons, 1 much harder to track precisely as they have no gps, 2 their mobile networks are 3rd world, and 3 it adds an extra layer of obfuscation to their communication.
The rumors are also that a cell phone, once identified, could be "pinged" by Mosad, and then used to not only identify a target, but also lock onto that target.

I'd think the CIA, FSB and whatever China's acronym army is could do that kind of thing. The exploding pagers though? That's a mix of the exploding rats from "Wanted", and the exploding implants from "Kingsmen".

IED's in Iraq had been made from cell phones. A relatively low tech setup, using the leads from the vibration motor and some Radio Shack knowledge, poor man's remote detonator. Pagers run the same small motor, so that would be easy...but making it still functional as a pager, and running a secondary assembly for "dial-a-douche"...took some work. Not to mention, the charge had to be powerful enough to do damage, and also small and extremely stable. It's damn impressive.

If they put all their data on floppy discs it'll be pretty secure too because nobody under 30 knows WTF it is besides a 3D printed save icon.

Who the fuck still makes pagers?

You know there are sheep somewhere breathing a sigh of relief. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I read the Muzzis are trying to block videos getting out because they know Israel is doing a victory dance.

Pre cell phone days My pager was my lifeline while out driving all over the state , every major city or town had a 2 number code (Fresno was 16) and thats how my dispatch would catch me to advise of my assignments , then Id get to a PAYPHONE to call for info ..................... My first cell was a Bag phone that plugged into my lighter socket my first month cell bill was $800 🤣

So What Explodes in the pager?

That is why 5G was created. To be able to target the phone. 3G and 4G can ping you but 5G can actually target, seek and destroy...

Imagine how afraid they all are of communicating w/ electronic devices from here on out.

what if apple built this tech into all their phones.... flip a switch and half a country is in hospital 🤔
If MOSSAD can do it, I would bet money the US can and has the ability to do so too. Maybe all the Obama / Biden / Harris devices have this ability and they can hit the reset / do over button at a whim?

It is becoming apparent that explosive devices where installed in the pagers via Israel influence before the terrorist's got them in their hands. The knuckleheads' ( I have much descriptive terms for these "people", but this isn't in the dungeon) that were injured by them should be more worried that MOSSAD knows where they are, and how the attained the devises than the injuries they received. Hope they all had the devices in their front pockets, at a minimum it would stop their innate ability to pollute the modern human socially focused gen pool any further.

Here's some even more frightening ones for you. 6 or 7 years ago some MIT guys showed how they could manipulate the signal emitted from a wireless router. They could use it in a way to map out real-time placement with a room, somehow using the latency to determine density and distance.

Many new vehicles have on board data abilities. Which means they are in some way "connected". We rely on the manufacturers to keep that system secure. The manufacturers in turn must play nice with the government because they can do many things to stifle sales. Many cars now come equipped with technology that can essentially control the vehicle.

Dependency on technology has made humans weak, and as Hezbolah learned today, also vulnerable. Although I doubt we will ever be privy to the information, part of me wonders if Mossad used the cellular system as the trigger, or used a specific frequency transmitted. Years back there was a project up for public bid by the US government. A broadcast mechanism meant to be used from a plane to transmit to all frequencies. It was listed under FEMA funding for emergency services.

Not surprised…grew up around Jews…some of the smartest people I ever known. Crazy how liberal and conservative they are. The “Chosen People”…Christ IS a Israelite.

I was all over the country in 1990-1992, my bag phone bill was over a grand for twenty some straight months.

They intercepted a whole fuckload of pagers and switched them out for ones that had extra "features"

5g is just beam forming to point the signal, it's like whispering in someone's ear instead of yelling across the room. It just means more devices can exist in a given area without talking over each other.

This could have been done on a 2g network just the same.

Once you have the physical device it's not difficult for someone with reasonable skill levels to reprogram it and make it perform a task when a certain message is received.

This is why they hack or bribe/blackmail their way into the tech companies. It's not get the data today, it's to use it for a future opportunity like this.

Break into the pager manufacturer, steal their code, make slight modifications, flash all the devices once you have them in hand and install explosives.... Job done.

Pagers are FAR from "secure". Doctors still use pagers.

Look up "POCSAG". With an inexpensive SDR (less than $20) and some software you can watch all the "pages" going out in the area.

Israel will be mapping out injuries, hospital admissions, social media posts, electronic communications, news footage, and medical records, linking them all to people who had these pagers today.

Forget the injuries and deaths; Israel just created a massive and growing trove of information about both known and previously unknown Hezbollah militants, as well as their supporters, partners, friends, family members, colleagues, workplaces, vehicles, and homes.

They just created an incredibly dense and *up-to-date* social graph of an entire terrorist network, across Lebanon as well as neighboring countries. It is incredible what they just did.

(Imagine being in a dark room with a massive Christmas tree in it. The tree has thousands of electric lights strewn all over it, but they’re unlit because the wall plug is not plugged into the wall socket.)

(Now, plug it in.)

who carries a fucking pager?
With a web search this is one result.
Pagers are still used by some people, including medical professionals, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, nuclear plant operators, and even birdwatchers. Pagers are valued for their reliability, simplicity, and ability to deliver urgent messages efficiently.
