This guy, no matter what boat he drives, is one dumb SOB that could have killed a bunch of my friends. No DCB jokes here please. By the way, Mike - the guy driving the tooner, owns an awesome F-32 himself. If anyone knows who this reckless guy is, do me a favor and kick him in the nuts for such a dumbass move. It's boaters like that guy that ruin boating for us and cause people to be killed and our rates to skyrocket. I hope the cops and his insurance agent see this video. He should NOT be on the water!! Go get him boatpi!!!!!

I'm seeing a trend with the guys driving a DCB. I bet their other car is a Prius.

close call for sure...the toon gets no respect...

however, after careful review of all photographic and video evidence it does appear that the toon was "trimming the turn" and caused the following boat to cross his wake. in doing so, the toons roostertail caused the dcb drivers rdp hat to fall off, ending up downriver in the "other" dcb...

That's crazy and that wouldn't fly here back East. I'd be at his dock having a nice discussion and would probably contact the local DGIF with a copy of that clip if it had happened to me and my camera was running. Honestly, how close and the speeds people pass in Havasu and on the River kill all the positives about boating there. My wife and I had a blast at our 1st DS but there is no way she or I would boat on Havasu and the river on a regular bases or think or relocating there. There were more than a few times that she was uncomfortable on Friday while we were on the water by other people's boat handling behaviors. I'm glad our boat host "Livin Da' Dream" did a great job driving and navigating the chaos.

I was able to freeze frame on the CF/AZ numbers but the resolution was too low to read on youtube. I think the original video would be high enough to read. I'd report that guy as he is an accident waiting to happen:thumbsdown

I'm seeing a trend with the guys driving a DCB. I bet their other car is a Prius.

Same thing happened to Joker this weekend on FRIDAY up on the river where NOBODY was. I posted this in another thread, but find it fitting to copy and paste here. I am by no means a DCB hater. I really like the boats. As well not a DCB Owner hater, but I must say many (not all) are arrogant on the water (rarely wave) and drive like the own the water! Of course there are others in other boats that drive like shit too, but I do see it more and more with the DCB's. Don't hate me just my personal observation!

In regards to Joker getting "Washed Down" by a M31 on Friday.

That was bullshit! The guy had plenty of room and did not have to blow by 15' off your boat and wash you guys out! It was a Friday and NOBODY else but us were on the river! I saw it and that is just reckless and F'd up!!! Have some commons sense and learn how to drive a boat! BTW it was a white and black and silver M31(may have missed some colors). If you are the owner and you are here you owe Joker a big apology for that dickhead move!

I wonder what the guy in the white bow rider was thinking as the other 2 cats blasted past him on both sides.

I seems as if DCB's are better left in the channel.
I'm not an "oh shit" kinda guy either. That boat would have some beers or Gatorade bottles thrown at it as it passed.

Has nothing to do with the boat! It was a DUMBASS person driving the boat! You can definitely see the the irresponsible comments. I can only bet it will be one of those that make that type of comment that causes the next accident instead of learning from someone elses mistake.

The guy is definitely out of line.:thumbsdown This is the reason we stay out of the gorge on weekends, to many boats at different speeds and too narrow..

I don't see any reason that because the boat was a DCB has anything to do with this.

That was just dickhead move.
I would hope that there is some explainable reason that he did this, but the fact that he didn't lift off the sticks leads me to believe otherwise.

And for the record:

<<<<<<Not a DCB owner, and absolutely no experience in Cat's

I similar thing happened to us last summer although entirely different scenario.

I was pulling my 7 YO daughter on the tube Sunday morning just passing Black Meadows. I saw two boats coming up behind on the left so I cheated to the right bit, still giving myself more room to go right if need be. The second asshole decides to cut between the other boat and my little girl for what reason I don't know. I accallerated than moved right a bit more to get her out of the way.

They sped off once they realized how close they got.

We ran into them in the Cove with the Flag pole a few mintues later. We pulled up and they know exactly who we were. I chose not to turn it into a fight for obvious reasons but I did take several pictures of the boat and the FUCKING ASSWIPE that was driving. At the end of the day, there was really nothing I could do. I chose not to post it here but maybe I should have.

I dunno.. I guess I'm a Parker boater. They looked pretty par for the course in Parker.. Not sure what the big deal is? He wasn't hauling ass, and he didn't roost you..

I'd live and let live, but again I'm used to close quarter boating like that. I literally wouldn't even think anything of it.

I understand close boating as well, but sorry that is just too close. One of his drives lock up and pitches him to the right we have a DISASTER! Would most likely not be a disaster or as big a one if there was some room to spare.

Too close, well thats up to everybody as an individual. My wife would have swam after him for an earfull.
But if you look close, DCB driver was watching where he was at, (in respect to the toon) and gave the photog on the back of the toon (who was pointing a camat him)a great pic.
BTW, Pretty sure the DCB belongs to an RDP'r
Didnt seem to bother everybody on the toon too much.

A little close for comfort but it didn't seem to upset the people in the pontoon boat. They were laughing and smiling. I have seen the driver in the pontoon boat at the turtle several times. Nice guy.

What is the actual rule of the road on that Pat? I think it's over taking vessel is responsible. So long as he doesn't hit you or cause damage its good.

One could argue negligent operation or unsafe operation. I was just saying if that clip was filmed literally 20 minutes south nobody would even have raised an eye brow. Just called it a good look at a dcb.

Regardless of whether or not his speed was high enough to possibly lose control and colide, or whether this is normal, expected and acceptable in Parker, (ridiculous), it's purely unneccesary and an asshole stunt.:thumbsdown

The passengers didn't look pissed off but if you look at the driver, he looks pissed as he should be. Totally unnecessary douche move :thumbsdown

I don't drive like that but yes this is close but kind of Parker normal as bad as that sounds.

The problem is if this aggressive douche bag fucks up how many in the pontoon survive? My guess is NONE.

The aggressive behavior is 100% unnecessary and was pretty much look at my small dick deal. Will that be the last time, not by a long shot.
