I was 10 and can tell you exactly where I was and who was in the room. Gibson’s dinger was so magical that a 10 year old me can remember every pitch. The fist bump rounding the bases was hero like.

Last night I was with my daughter and her boyfriend at YardHouse in Temecula. There was a solid showing of Yankee fans. They assumed they had it locked up.

YardHouse was busy…

When Freddie hit that dinger the place erupted, electrified.

I hope this series continues like this. Two amazing teams battling it out like gladiators. Every single pitch is meaningful.

Funny story, I was 11 at the time of the Gibson home run...I wasn't really a Dodger fan then, I hadn't really even had a "favorite" baseball team...just enjoyed watching baseball...I bet my friend whos family was huge Dodger fans $5 that the Dodgers wouldnt beat the A's in the WS....I obviously lost that bet, and got tormented by my friend so much, that to this very day....I am a fan of any team that is playing against the Dodgers...I cant stand them....lol

My entire family are die hard Dodger fans. I grew up in a Dodger household. I just didn’t appreciate NL baseball as much as I do AL baseball so have been a fan of the Angels since a kid. I went to two World Series games and almost every playoff game when the Angels won it in 2002.

If it was a freeway series WS I’d be the only one wearing Angels gear out of my entire family lol
