Freddie Freeman is one of my favorite players. It was great watching that ball leave the yard.

Fun fact for Yankees haters:

Aaron Judge has a higher career playoff strikeout percentage than Martin Maldonado. Judge tallied three more Ks last night.

😁

Dodgers left more. The Dodgers proved they could hit off of the Yankees bullpen but struggled with finishing the deal. The Dodgers also struggled getting HR's, they hit 7 deep, 5 made it to the edge of the grass in the outfield, one hit the wall and one went out (the GS). If the Dodgers wouldn't have left anyone stranded they would have had 7 or 8 on the board in the 9th.

Yankees bullpen is good at keeping the hits in the park, the Dodgers need to just chip away at the hits, singles and doubles.

The Yankees won't count injured Freeman out anymore.

What's a bit ironic is the announcer making a comment about his injuries and being able to run just as he was walking up to the plate. Not 2 min later...Boomer and he's running like a school kid. He even pounced the bag at FB.

Fun fact for Yankees haters

I don't think there's a lot of hate on here for the Yankees, I certainly do not hate them. We're just big time Dodgers fans and want our home team to win. I love seeing the Yankees play at Dodger Stadium, it's so cool and such a treat. Now, The Astros and Padres are a different story. lol

There’s a cool video that I saw that had Vin Scullys Gibson call and showing Freeman’s homer.

To me Gibson’s was way bigger being he was pinch hitting, completely banged up and did it against the best closer in the game at the time.

Freddie’s was huge no doubt, just not on the same level. Also helps that Freddie needed that after struggling to get right, along with being just an all around great dude.

I was 12 and remember it like it was yesterday

I was 10 and can tell you exactly where I was and who was in the room. Gibson’s dinger was so magical that a 10 year old me can remember every pitch. The fist bump rounding the bases was hero like.

Last night I was with my daughter and her boyfriend at YardHouse in Temecula. There was a solid showing of Yankee fans. They assumed they had it locked up.

YardHouse was busy…

When Freddie hit that dinger the place erupted, electrified.

I hope this series continues like this. Two amazing teams battling it out like gladiators. Every single pitch is meaningful.

I love this sport!

Freddie also dealt with his son's recent health scare in ICU in addition to his own mid/end of season adjustments and injury. Dude sure seems like the consummate pro who does it the right way , with self esteem from hard work and results, not running the bases with a necklace Mike D would wear .

It was pretty much meant as a joke. I'm pumped for this showdown between giants of the game. Let's face facts, Dodgers -- Yankees is a classic that so far has lived up to the hype. Last years series between the Rangers and DBacks was a sideshow compared to this year.

Yesterday I read that SRO tickets for Game 3 in NY are priced around $1,800 right now and climbing.

Living on the east coast has some advantages but staying up until midnight to watch a fucking ball game isn’t one of them.
I guess I’m officially old. I was pretty much more useless than normal today and I didn’t even drink much after the game started
Let’s hope for a quick win for the yanks tonight to keep the series close and give us east coasters a break. 😁

Let’s be real, there are no advantages to living on the east coast. 🤣

Another little tid bit I heard on the radio today.
Gibson wanted some practice swings after sitting on ice packs all game.
So Orel had to bend down and pick the balls up and place them on the batting tee because he couldn’t even bend down himself.
Makes what he did even more impressive

Is this asking too much?

I just want to see this series going all 7 games……… If there is a wish granter in the sky, could you please make them all go extra innings too?

Hopefully I will see a signal of my wish……….. at the top of the 10th inning tonight. lol

Not even close, Yankees left 11 on base, the Dodgers left 4

Driving to my buddies Halloween party I was listening to it in the car and when I turn the car off it's 1-1 and by the time I get inside the house it's 1-3😍
