This was the first song I thought of when I read the title. Read a great article where Trent Reznor talked about Cash asking him if he could do the cover and how Reznor had mixed feelings about it because it was such an emotional song for himself about his drug abuse. Reznor says in the article that Johnny Cash absolutely made it his own song and did a fantastic job. The video is one of if not thee best video's I've ever seen. Very powerful.

To answer the question, yes. As far as this song, no. I can’t stand it. It’s so bad it’s almost comical. I can’t help but think it’s a Wierd Al cover. Just my two cents.
