Obviously this thread falls somewhere between the corona section and politics section, so I’ll put it here and let the powers that be make the call where it goes or maybe even delete it if you all start eating your young and can’t have a rational look at the topic

If this is a hoax, it’s absolutely brilliant from a strategic stand point. Think about it, the president has shut down the economy and pumped a cubic shit ton of money into the economy essentially ending the free market concept that capitalism is built on. Basically everything he stands for. Americans like money and you fuck with our money there is gonna be a problem.

So let’s say this is really a very deadly and contagious virus as it’s being played out to be. Everyone goes out and licks door knobs and millions of people die, or everyone stays home and the door knob licking is limited to just a few and the death toll is lowered, that’s the narrative, however if people live that helps dispel the seriousness of the situation because nothing happened, total fucking quagmire right there.

it’s real and you open things back up, people die and you lose the election.

If it’s fake and you keep things closed you kill the economy and lose the election.

If it’s real and you keep things closed, you kill the economy and lose the election.

The virus itself is very real, the reaction of governments all over the world is tragic. The mortality rate of the virus was way overblown, even in Italy and Spain when it was at it's worst it was just matching the mortality rate of the seasonal flu. Could it have been much worse if all the shut downs didn't happen? Maybe, maybe not, we'll never know. The world economy is fucked, we know that.

The food stuff does not add up in UT, most have stayed open and I see tons of folks getting food still. Our case count is pretty low. I know a lot of people say this but I may have had it back in Jan. I went to Canada for a snowmobile trip and was absolutely gassed like 30 min into riding every day at 4k feet. I ride at 10K here with no issue. I remember thinking what in the fuck is wrong with me.

I like the conspiracy theory about the take out being the source there seeding the herd with.... That's why its closed, you cant see what there doing in the prep areas....
