That's great but CG is a factor to always consider especially with a different setup

do you change the "X" when you fill it with fuel? Or when you put 2 people in it? NOPE

I agree CG is important to know for setting up a boat. I'm taking a lot of care when rigging my mini.

I look at a lot of outboards though (not the DCB here, but smaller ones.. Stokers, STV's, etc..) and they pretty much put everything in the back of the boat and fly em.

I think with 29'ish Feet of fiberglass out front, and carpet, and interior, and....

cg is key to making our skirace outboards fast....if all is in the back and high on the transom it will ride nose high killing speed. Moving shit around to make it fly flat as can be and still just be on the pad in flat water can gain more than a few mph. Also corect cg will help you lanch flat when the water gets big...I have had skiers say from the back it was like flying a kite but flat and that always had to do with setup and time ....no two boats ever where set up the same ....a tweak here and there is need to get weight distribution corect, even changing an observer i will throw some weight in diferent places to change the cg and weight from side to side.

That boat is pretty sick....80K for twin outboards or 150K for a single 1350......If it can do 110 regularly I think it is going to be a good option.

I know I could be wrong but the 1350 had 1 year warranty and the outboard from race division come with 2 years if nothing has changed on the new outboards.

150K with the drive?

By the way I'm not sure the performance #'s are comparable between the 2.. I would guess a 1350 would put that boat in the high 130's mph wise?

Yes and get it there a lot quicker. I would like to see the torque curves on the outboards compared to the 1350.

Sorry I already have calls in and if you paying 40 g a piece with rigging you have paid too much.
