If any of you are wondering how many times I have seen a boat like this in SoFlo……… The answer is “Never”. Not once
Like you I have lived in South County for many years. First time I have seen anything like that. I heard it before I saw it, coming around the curve by the D.P. Yacht Club. I think they just went around the island and back to the trailer. After Living her in South county for 30+years, having a boat slipped in dana for 10 years....and all the times I have stood right where the picture was taken.....
I have never seen that before now.
It’s not a Schiada. It’s a Hallett.Hey it’s not on a trailer!
Let's see some more pics of the boat! You found me, i was tuning the carbs on sunday. Just finished putting the blower on. Youll see my boat in dana point often

I remember the hot dog stand by the short pier near the marine institute. Used to get a chili dog & a orange juice bar, older gal ran it for years. Good memories! They're making a wake. I have 1000's of miles of driving in that harbor on a dinghy. Can't recall ever seeing something like that. Pretty much grew up on E dock on the West side of the Island from 94-2005. Who remembers the hotdog stand?
You obviously didn't encounter paddle boarders lol. They flat out hate boat wakes. You found me, i was tuning the carbs on sunday. Just finished putting the blower on. Youll see my boat in dana point often

We have only been back in Huntington Harbor about a year. I live at the Top of La Paz and have several Associations I work in down south. It was super convenient to be slipped there on the island E dock slip 6. There three times a week.Like you I have lived in South County for many years. First time I have seen anything like that.
