Riding the bike the whole way?

Trailering the bikes to Cortez Co then riding as much off-road as possible up the state to Wyoming. Most of it is called the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route “BDR”.. 👍🏼

Sounds like a badass trip. How long are you off-road for?

There’s street involved too. I think around 8 days total. Staying in Hotels and Airbnb’s, gonna take a day off in Steamboat. I lowered my gearing and put knobbies on, I’m expecting lots of water crossings, mud and snow. Lots of mountain passes which are no problem, hopefully they’re open.

Do you still do that in the big group?

I hope you take lots of pix and document it all in a thread for those of us who used to ride and are super jealous of a killer DS adventure.

She helps keep the mountain lions away..kinda.

Fortunately, we don’t have very many bears visiting Lake Havasu, but I do worry about the mountain lions when I’m walking my dogs in the desert. Hopefully I have enough peashooter with me. 😳

Thought they tire that house down. What’s the deal with it? It was vacant for a bunch of years as they were redeveloping the area.
They were able to save it but they had to move it if I remember correctly, it's now a pie shop

San Diego for a couple days for work. The weather is tough to beat. It’s gonna make Havasu feel pretty damn hot this weekend.
Team build downtown with an event on Midway.

Currently celebrating.. I’m officially retired from mowing my lawn. No more fixing sprinklers, fertilizing or killing crabgrass. Done

Each year I threaten to do likewise. Only thing I've got to figure out is the best way to provide some water for my two large queens since I'd no longer be watering the lawn.

That looks really nice 👍👍👍

@4Waters is correct. They relocated it down the street to the tourist trap part of town and turned it into a restaurant/pie shop and parked the Ninja out front for photo ops.

Out with the old in with the new along with shiny new cup holders to complete it all . Sounds so much better why did I wait so long? And some of the speaker wires were backwards as I multi-metered the wires before connecting them😁

thank you!.... They've got that down to a science. They cap off the sprinklers to the lawn and leave the ones up for adjacent trees and shrubs.

My wife inquired just what turf you went with since it looked so full and realistic ?

The company that did it is called "Turf Exchange" here in Ventura County CA, they have their own brand of turf, I picked their "Rincon" turf and it's a 2" pile. My buddy used 2" Rincon and he had them also build a putting green that looks so sick.. I fell in love with it.. The Rincon actually has a lot of brown dead looking roots and tips to it, making it more natural looking. Plus they rolled the edges in the front yard for a better look. For 1750 square feet I paid around 14k.. That's for the demo and haul away and install, they include the bender board wherever you want it. Sounds like a lot but that's my whole yard front and back and comes with a 15 year warranty. It's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for with them. I will be able to handle my yard much better without worrying about the lawns..
