From Love Field to Santa Ana with a quick stop in Las Vegas. It was originally a direct flight but they no longer fly direct from Dallas to OC.

Badass weekend so far. Friday we started with lunch at Foxes, Wine Bar for dinner and Flying X for a night cap. Hit Topock for lunch today, channel for some people watching and then watched everyone come in from the pool.

Hike wasnt bad going in but kicked my butt going out. I didn't really train the knees aren't like they used to be. 1.5 miles each way to where we camped. Last 1.5 miles on the way out is insane. We were set to go in 2020 but the China virus put us on hold until last week. Glad we did it but I realized I'm not a backpacker.

Currently marinized LML Duramax’s. But have a good quote for a new pair of Yanmar 8LV370’s. The duramax’s run good and are easily tunable with efi live but am working thru some electrical issues with the port engine and have gotten spooked at the idea of running far offshore with the GM harnesses. So planning on putting them back on the test stands until I can have true marine engine harnesses made up.
I don’t think the GM engine harnesses are compatible for long term salt water use and I’m tired of keeping this boat tied up as a test mule.

Wow, even with all the GM weather tight connections you're still having issues. What kind of speeds are you seeing with that setup? Are the engines staggered?

finally went to see why my ankles were hurting so bad. Three of my four screws are loose and coming out. One is into my joint. I’ve been running consistent seven minute miles like this. I should feel like a new person in a week or two when I get them out

Sarasota Offshore races got the restaurants all crowded. Forgot to make reservations for anniversary dinner tonight so made a 40 mi sunset run out yesterday to favorite red snapper ledge.
Grilled snapper with beurre noisette sauce and some cold ones should get it done. Luv the Gulf of Mexico.
