Whitey Morgan last night at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana. He played some spectacular sounding country music for damn near two hours. After the regular set, he came out for a two song encore which included a great version of Social Distortion's "99 to Life"-- very apropo in the OC.

Alex Williams was pretty cool too. Country music is in a great place right now IMO.

Fine Japanese Cutlery. I’ve been wanting some high end kitchen knives for a while now. There’s a sweet knife shop in PHX that answered all my questions and pointed me in the right direction. I’m pretty stoked about these.
