One year at the well known Buffalo Chip campground, first Saturday morning roll in to see a young good looking babe stark as naked with only HD boots on standing up on the rear seat of a bike coming at me. Old fellow riding a road king, gray beard to his belly just smiling, she had her hands on his shoulders to stand. 😳😜 and then it was on.......

Camp is all set up. Few friends arrived and waiting on a few others.

my prediction….Sturgis 81 is gonna be completely off the hook.

ohhhhh….the neighbor womans tits are spectacular. Sitting there talking to her and the husband its jus another day. Actually like most here they are just releasing some steam and having silly fun. Let the games begin ;)

@DILLIGAF check out the thread in rv motorhome trips. I met some guys going cross country on enduro bikes on their way to Sturgis. One in a million, but it would be cool if you bumped into them.

The dreaded laundry day. I do have to admit I miss having a washer and dryer. Could add one in the 5th wheel but would lose too much room for the bike.

oh well….

Off to ride to Rushmore and finish off in the areas we havent been to yet this trip.

threat of rain this AM so just waiting a bit for that to move out.

low 80s today so should be ideal riding.

having my coffee watching people head out. I have to admit I like the ending of this rally. It just becomes much more enjoyable to me as the craziness level comes down. Its when you take a breath and just chill for a few more days.

Had a nice ride today with an occasional chilly area but nothing too cold.

hung out at the Red Garter Saloon in keystone which was pretty cool.

numerous ambulances police and emt vehicles back towards Mt Rushmore so we assumed there was a bike crash.MR is only about 3-4 miles away from the saloon.

Trying to figure out where I am going to for the next path-stop. I am drawing a blank....lol

If I head towards ID, MT and WY it is going to get more congested than I like. Just checked a few places and not real impressed.

My son is out roaming on his Harley also and he is currently in Nevada. He wasn't able to make it to Sturgis which was a bummer.

Decisions, decisions.......I guess the obvious answer is to just pick a direction and drive and figure it out along the way :)

How busy has it been compared to recent years or other years you’ve attended?

sounds and looks like it’s been a great time!

There’s a number of natural features around your location to explore while you figure out your path forward.

Glacier National Park area? Flathead Lake? Places we didn’t have a chance to stop at this last trip. I’d check out the fire/smoke conditions before I headed too far west though. Pretty hot and smokey in many places. Daughter in Idaho says it’s been real smokey and hot there. Safe Travels!

The weather is still good, maybe head up high and go across. WY was a shit show in terms of traffic when we went through.

I am thinking if I wait a week or so maybe a lot of the peeps out west of here might start thinning out

Was definitely busy but a lot of people headed out this week. Last night coming back thru town it was still busy though. Plenty to do with a thinning crowd :)

They have a mustang rally out here in two weeks plus the riding without all the knuckleheads is great

Bighorn Mountains by way of Sundance Wyoming. Or head to Saratoga, Riverside, Encampment Wyoming, south of Laramie in the Snowy Range.

Well…bittersweet as the Lunatic Fringes headed home today.

i have some important business I have to take care of tomorrow and needed some good cell and wifi service so I decided to stay at the Sturgis RV park right off of main street. Very clean park with grass, gravel and cement pads. I am staying on a cement pad. They have a self serve laundry here which will allow me to clean all up before hitting the road again. Traveled 4 miles today…lol. One thing I really love about this park is the huge overhang cement pad for bike parking if needed. It is great to put your bike there if a storm comes thru. Ohhhhh….they also have a store-bar-bbq place as well as a dog wash. Yep….Roxy will get a bath.

after tomorrow plan on doing additional riding thru the Black Hills minus the estimated 700k Sturgis visitors for the run.

a good wind down after the craziness of the run

I was inside on calls all day but the smoke here is really bad. I guess its from fires in ID and Montana. Hoping these clears up so I can go for some rides over the next few days. 100 degree temp with smoke everywhere would not be enjoyable. Rain coming Thursday I guess with lot lower temps.

i did score on a few tshirts today. 2 for 24 and they were going for 25. Per during the run.

all in all a relaxing day after the damn phone calls.

CHEERS!
